SASC 89

Good morning, Friends! I hope you are all having a super start to the week! It looks like March might just go out like a lamb - as they say. I am so excited to see more sun and warmer temperatures! Well, my son is getting older. Yikes! I mean, I know that but it has really hit home now. Yesterday he brought "the note" home. You know, the one about seeing "the film". Parents can sign it if they want their child to opt out but my husband and I talked about it and we feel he should see it. I mean, we both did. It's just so weird to think that it is time for him to see it. I looked at Pat and said that he will have to do the "talk" because I never saw the boy's film -lol! Just the other day I was looking at pictures of him when he was "knee-high to a grasshopper". Where does all that time go?

Today's card was inspired by a sketch on Stampin' Addicts. The sketch looked very similar to one that I used a few weeks ago from Splitcoast. Because of that I thought I should try to make them different. So I used different colors and a different butterfly. I do like the way it turned out and I got to use my vintage trinkets! Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a look. Have a wonderful day!

Card Recipe: Stamps- Strength & Hope, Teeny Tiny Wishes; Paper- Confetti Cream, Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze, Vintage Springtime designer paper; Ink- Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze; Accessories- Very Vanilla seam binding ribbon, vintage trinkets, basic pearls, Framed Tulip embossing folder, word window punch, sponge (I sponged some Not Quite Navy along the bottom of the butterfly's wings), dimensionals

  1. Beautiful - just like ALL of your cards!! I am entering my first card swap and am using one of your ideas for a layout. Changing the colors and the sentiment - but you gave me the general idea, thank you for sharing!
