CCMC Saturday Blog Hop: Anything Goes Christmas

Hello everyone! I hope your Thanksgiving was everything you wanted it to be! I have been visiting family and am now on my way home. I can't wait to come back at Christmas!

Today is the regularly scheduled Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop. This week we are featuring Christmas cards with an "anything goes" theme! I am your stop after the fabulous Debbie Henderson! I had to make this card before I left last week and so I wanted something really simple. I think I got it! And I do like how this one turned out!

  • Card base is Pool Party
  • Stamp the large snowflake image from the Holly Jolly Greetings stamp set onto the card base using Pool Party ink
  • Stamp the little dots image onto the card base using Whisper White craft ink then sponge the edges of the card using Whisper White ink
  • Stamp the "Christmas" word onto the card base using Momento ink
  • Cut the "merry" out of Dazzling Diamond glitter paper using the Christmas Greetings thinlits and adhere to card with dimensionals
  • Use a sponge and the Whisper White craft ink to sponge ink onto a wooden snowflake element and adhere to card with a dimensional
  • Add an iced rhinestone to snowflake center
Super simple! I just love the sparkle of the Dazzling Diamonds glitter paper! It's now time to send you off to see what the fabulous Connie Babbert has created! Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a super day!

Hello everyone! Welcome to another Saturday blog hop with the Create with Connie and Mary designers! This week we are featuring Christmas cards created using the colors white and gold! I am your stop after the fabulous Debbie Henderson!

White and gold are such elegant colors together and make fantastic Christmas cards! Here is what I did!

  • Card base is Whisper White
  • On a panel of vellum, stamp the trees image from Wonderland using VersaMark ink and emboss using white emboss powder
  • Adhere panel to card base being careful to put the glue on the embossed image (on the back side)
  • On a strip of vellum, stamp the greeting using VersaMark ink and emboss using gold emboss powder then flag the end
  • Cut a strip of Winter Wonderland designer vellum and flag the end
  • Adhere the two strips to the card putting the adhesive where the snowflake/button will go
  • Adhere a wooden snowflake element to the card
  • Thread a piece of linen thread through a gold basic metal button and tie a bow and adhere to snowflake center
I hope you are enjoying all the great ideas that have been shared this month at the Create with Connie and Mary November edition! It's now time to send you on to see what the fabulous Connie Babbert has created! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Hello everyone! Welcome to another fabulous blog hop from the The Stamp Review Crew designers! This time we are featuring projects made using the beautiful stamp set, Wonderland! I am your stop after the fabulous Sue Plote!

This was a stamp set that I had to get right away! I just loved that trees image! And it is perfect for making quick and simple cards! I think it will still look good for winter cards even when Christmas is over. So here is what I came up with...

  • Card base is Mint Macaron
  • Stamp the trees image several times onto the card base using Mint Macaron ink
  • Stamp the snowflakes image onto the card base using VersaMark ink
  • Stamp the greeting onto a strip of Whisper White card stock using Tip Top Taupe ink and flag the end
  • Cut the scallop part off of a piece of Tip Top Taupe dotted scallop ribbon and adhere to the back of the strip then adhere to card with dimensionals
  • Add a few rhinestones to card
And there you have it! Time to send you on to see what at the fabulous Mike Funke has created! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Silent Night of Navy

Hello everyone! I am so glad that the weekend is almost here! I thought that yesterday would be a little more relaxing than it ended up being. I won't bore you with all the details but it involved getting new phones and then trying to remember all the passwords to get everything to work right. UGH! I still can't get my email to work right on my phone... But tonight I get to see the shoebox gals again. It's been awhile and I'm looking forward to that! I don't have a project ready and I won't have one for tonight. Let's hope they forgive me ;)

Today's card is a pretty easy one. I love how the gold really makes it all so regal!

  • Card base is Night of Navy
  • Adhere a strip of Wonderland designer vellum to the card base putting the adhesive in the center part of the vellum so it will not show
  • Stamp the trees image from the Wonderland stamp set onto a piece of Whisper White using Night of Navy ink
  • Stamp the sentiment at the bottom of the panel using the same ink
  • Tie a piece of gold taffeta ribbon around the panel and then adhere to card with dimensionals
Super easy!

It's time for the Create with Connie and Mary November mini edition! The new projects were released today! There is still time to sign up! AND when you sign up for both November and December, you will get a bonus winter project! Check out more details at the Create with Connie and Mary site! You won't want to miss these!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

A Merry Tree

Good morning everyone! I hope your week is off to a fabulous start! Not much going on around here. It is supposed to get colder this week with a storm system moving in so that will make the kiddos a little crazy - lol!

Today's card was inspired by one that I had done quite some time ago. I was going through older posts and picking out cards that I liked that I had done and trying to recreate them with current product. That was kind of fun! Think I will look for more cards to do that way!

  • Card base is Cherry Cobbler
  • Run a piece of Mossy Meadow through the Big Shot using the Styled Lines embossing folder then adhere to card base
  • Adhere a piece of Merry Moments designer paper to card
  • Flag the end of a piece of Crumb Cake and adhere to card
  • Punch a scallop circle using the 2 3/8" scallop circle punch from Cherry Cobbler card stock
  • Punch a circle from Crumb Cake using the 2" circle punch and sponge the edges using Whisper White craft ink then adhere to scallop circle
  • Adhere the scallop circle piece to the card with dimensionals
  • Stamp the greeting from Festival of Trees onto the banner using Cherry Cobbler ink
  • Stamp the tree image onto a piece of Old Olive using Mossy Meadow ink and punch out using the Tree punch
  • Sponge the edges of the tree using Old Olive ink and adhere to circle piece using dimensionals
  • Add three rhinestones to card
Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

CCMC Saturday Blog Hop: Silver, White, Blue Christmas Card

Hello everyone! Welcome to another Saturday blog hop with the Create with Connie and Mary designers! This week we are featuring Christmas cards with a blue, white and silver color scheme! I am your stop after the fabulous Debbie Henderson

We got to choose which blue to use on our card and I chose Lost Lagoon. I haven't used this color in a while. I've also had these metallic foil doilies and needed to get them out and use them! These colors made me think of snowflakes right away and I went in search of a great sketch to play along with. I found one at Freshly Made! And then everything fell into place!

  • Card base is Lost Lagoon
  • Stamp the smaller snowflakes image from the Flurry of Wishes stamp set onto the card base using Lost Lagoon ink (I wished I would have made it so that both small snowflakes would have shown)
  • Adhere the silver metallic foil doily to card and cut off the edge even with the card base
  • Stamp the medium snowflake image onto a piece of Whisper White using Momento ink and punch out using the Flower Medallion punch
  • Color the snowflake in using the Lost Lagoon marker and adhere to card with dimensionals
  • Stamp the greeting onto a strip of Whisper White using Momento ink and flag the end
  • Color the "Christmas" in using the Lost Lagoon marker and adhere to card
  • Add a large iced rhinestone to snowflake center
Have you signed up for the Create with Connie and Mary November edition? Lots of great holiday ideas to get you ready for the season! Here is a little snippet:
