Googlie Spider

Good Sunday morning everyone! I hope your weekend has been going great! After we came back from the memorial service yesterday, we each took a little nap. I was still feeling the effects of my migraine so it was nice to lay down for a while. Then Nick got invited to a baseball game (our local minor league team) and spend the night with a friend. So we drove him in and were looking for a place to eat when some friends of ours called us up and asked if we would like tickets to the same baseball game. We said yes and went, too!! I hadn't been to one and it was so much fun!! The seats were great ones, too!!! And the GJ Rockies winning the game added to the fun, too! We got home pretty late and thankfully I was able to sleep in. Ahhh!! Tomorrow morning it's up early to get the kiddo off to school!

Today's card is the fourth of the cards I did with my stamp club this month. I really liked how this turned out even if it is super easy!! I got the idea from the recent special issue of PaperCrafts magazine. I embossed a piece of Basic Black with the Web embossing folder and then adhered it to a piece of Lucky Limeade. This is popped up onto a card base of Basic Black. Then I stamped the greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes in Basic Black onto a strip of Pumpkin Pie. A strip of Lucky Limeade was cut with the Tasteful Trim die and adhered to the bottom part of the Pumpkin Pie strip. I put a brad through and attached a piece of white baker's twine behind this before adhering it to the card. Then I stamped the spider from Googly Ghouls in black StazOn onto a piece of Whisper White and cut him out. He is popped up onto the card and over the baker's twine. I added two googlies for his eyes. Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!
