Good morning, Friends! I hope your week is going super! It's time for another Thursday challenge from the Create with Connie and Mary team! This week we are being challenged with color! Take a look at these fabulous colors!!
Cajun Craze, More Mustard, and Midnight Muse! So pretty together and yet I had such a hard time actually putting them together - ugh! I hate it when that happens. So I used a lot of white space with mine. Not totally what I was going for but it works for the challenge.
I have been wanting to make more autumn/Thanksgiving cards as this season seems to just fly by. I ran a piece of Whisper White through the Big Shot with the Woodgrain embossing folder. Then I adhered a piece of Cajun Craze to this and wrapped a piece of Midnight Muse stitched satin ribbon around the panel before popping it up onto a card base of Whisper White. On another piece of Whisper White I stamped the sentiment from Seasonal Sayings in Midnight Muse and popped this up onto the card. Finally, I stamped the leaf from Wonderfall in More Mustard onto a piece of Whisper White and popped this up onto the card. Very simple!
Be sure to check it out what the other designers did with these colors. You can find their fabulous creations on the Create with Connie and Mary website. I do hope that you will be inspired to play along with us this week! Be sure to upload your creation to the website so that we can all take a look!

Love all the white space on here! Makes those colors pop even more. Yes, I was "challenged" with them, too!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Love the white woodgrain background. It makes all the other colors so much more vibrant. I love the leaf and that bit of ribbon...it's my favorite.
ReplyDeleteGreat white-on-white, the embossing and the card looks great with the solo leaf!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous and clean! All of the white really makes the colors pop! :-)
