Seize The Birthday #5

Good morning, Friends! Well I sure didn't want to get out of bed this morning! Ugh!! Felt so good to stay under the warm blankets. But here we are trying to get our son ready for school. And it's only Tuesday - lol! We will be ready for the weekend!! I had a great stamp club last night! And I am excited to share the cards we made. I think that everyone liked them! 

Today's card was inspired by the sketch at Seize the Birthday. A super simple one! This is one of the cards we did at club last night. Bright and fun! I adhered a piece of Sycamore Street designer paper to a piece of Sahara Sand card stock and then wrapped a piece of Island Indigo ribbon from the Sycamore Street ribbon and button pack. Then it is popped up onto a card base of Island Indigo. Then I stamped and the Just Thinking stamp in VersaMark and heat embossed the image with clear emboss powder. I cut around the image and popped it up onto the card. I stamped the image again in Island Indigo onto Whisper White and cut the inside circle out (don't tell anyone, but a 2 1/4" circle punch will punch it out; Becky had one and we used it at the club - lol). This circle is popped up onto the image. Then I added a Tangerine Tango button from the Sycamore Street ribbon and button pack with some white baker's twine threaded through it.
