Good morning, Friends! It's time for another Thursday challenge from the Create with Connie and Mary team! This week it's a sketch challenge! Take a look!
And my card:
I wanted to use stamps that have been neglected as I seem to be using Halloween, Thanksgiving and even Christmas stamps more now. So I pulled out Notable Notions and went simple. Here are the details:
- Card base is Very Vanilla
- Layer of Baked Brown Sugar that was run through the Big Shot using the Argyle embossing folder
- A layer of Etcetera designer paper was sponged with Baked Brown Sugar
- Flag a strip of Etcetera designer paper and adhere to sponged piece
- Adhere a strip of Night of Navy card stock that was trimmed at one end then adhere panel to card
- Stamp tag from Notable Notions in Baked Brown Sugar onto Very Vanilla and cut out
- Punch hole in tag and thread some 7/16" Naturals Trim through and tie a piece of linen thread around this then pop tag up onto card
- Use the 1 3/4" scallop circle punch to punch the scallop circle from Pool Party and lightly sponge edges with Baked Brown Sugar
- Use the 1 3/8" circle punch to punch a circle from Calypso Coral and adhere to scallop circle
- Stamp sentiment from Notable Notions in Night of Navy onto Very Vanilla and punch out using the 1 1/4" circle punch then adhere to other circle
- Pop circle element up onto card
- Add a Calypso Coral candy dot to center
Be sure to see what the other designers did with this fun sketch at the Create with Connie and Mary website! I hope you will be inspired to play along with us this week! We always love to see what you come up with! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!
