Birthday Sorbet

Good morning, Friends! I hope you are having a fantastic weekend! Yesterday was a great day as I was able to get some sewing done. I hope to get more done today, though! I am not getting as much done as I had thought I would. Too much visiting I guess - lol!! That's just fine, though! And then there is the football game that is a must see game around here!! Go Broncos!!!

Today's card was inspired by one that my friend Molly gave me for my birthday. I really liked the simple layout and decided to duplicate with Stampin' Up! product. Here are the details:

  • Card base is Sahara Sand
  • Use the Tasteful Trim die to cut a line of scallops from Basic Black card stock
  • Adhere the scallop strip to the back of a piece of Sweet Sorbet designer paper then adhere to card
  • Cut a piece of Crisp Cantaloupe and run through the Big Shot with the Decorative Dots embossing folder
  • Flag the end of the panel and tie a piece of Summer Starfruit stitched satin ribbon around it then adhere to card
  • Stamp greeting from Four You in black StazOn onto a strip of Whisper White and flag both ends then adhere to card with dimensionals
Very easy! Be sure to visit the Create with Connie and Mary site today! They will be announcing the blog candy winners! Thanks to all you of you for leaving such sweet comments! I loved reading them! Early bird pricing ended yesterday but you can still sign up to be a part of the Spring Collection! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!
