Good morning everyone! It's Friday! Last night we went to the back to school night at Loma elementary and met Nick's new teacher and got to look around the school. I am so excited for Nick and Nick is excited, too, but just not about the whole studying, learning, etc. He likes school just to see his buddies. I think he is going to be fine. He already knows a lot of kids in his class just from various sports that he has been involved in. And speaking of sports, we are leaving this afternoon to travel to Colorado Springs for a soccer tournament. This is the first tournament (of many) that this new team with a new coach has played and I am anxious to see how they all do. What will be hard is that we won't get back until Sunday evening and then he has to be ready for school on Monday. And we don't know how late it will be on Sunday. I am hoping to get my posts done for Saturday and Sunday but if I don't you will know why.
Today's card is one that I made for the Card Scraps online community. I didn't put a direct link to the sketch because I don't know if you have to sign up for the site or not to be able to see it. But this is for their August sketch challenge. And they are giving away some blog candy which happens to be a stamp set! I just got this cute little owl punch the other day and had to give him a try. I had a lot of fun putting him together but those little pieces are really hard to glue on! Maybe my fingers are too fat. I don't know. But I did get him glued together. I also used the new seam binding from the Holiday mini catalog. That is really cool stuff! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!
