Good morning, Friends! I hope you are all having a fabulous week! Create with Connie and Mary have a fabulous new challenge this week! This week it's a color challenge! Take a look!
I never would have put these colors together on purpose - lol! I love Smoky Slate! Pacific Point kind of scares me because it is really "out there". And Summer Starfruit has a love/hate relationship. Well, thanks to Connie and Mary, I had to put these all together and guess what? They are gorgeous together!! Take a look!
I was really happy with how this turned out!
- Card base is Whisper White
- Use the corner rounder to round the bottom corners
- Stamp the Hardwood background stamp onto a piece of Smoky Slate with Smoky Slate ink and round bottom corners
- Adhere this panel to a piece of Whisper White that also has the bottom corners rounded
- Tie a piece of Summer Starfruit stitched satin ribbon around this layer and adhere to card base with dimensionals
- Flag the bottom of a strip of Pacific Point and adhere to card with dimensionals
- Stamp the sentiment from Perfect Pennants onto a piece of Whisper White and punch out with the 2 1/2" circle punch then adhere to card
- Stamp the flower image from Petite Petals five times onto a piece of Whisper White using Summer Starfruit ink
- Punch flowers out with the Petite Petal punch and adhere them to the card with dimensionals and glue dots
- Add rhinestones to flower centers

Your color analysis made me laugh. The card turned out beautiful with just the right amount of color. I especially love the hardwood panel and hope this stamp makes it into the new Big Catalog this year!
