CCMC 219

Good morning everyone! It's time for the Thursday challenge from the Create with Connie and Mary team! This week we are being challenged with a sketch! Take a look!

And my card...

I wasn't sure if I was completely happy with this but I decided to go with it. I had seen some cards done with this set where the image wasn't colored. And I thought that it was a great way to show off this stamp! Cause sometimes you just don't want to have to color it all in, right? :) And because I didn't color in the image, the card came together very quickly! I took a piece of Very Vanilla and ran it through the Big Shot with the Apothecary Accents framelits die. Then I stamped the image from Winter Memories in Always Artichoke to the left. I cut off the other end of the frame and adhered it to a card base of Always Artichoke. Then I added a strip of Cherry Cobbler. For my two accent pieces I cut two snowflakes using the Snow Flurry die from silver glimmer paper. The smaller one is adhered to the card with a rhinestone in the center. And the bigger one is popped up onto the card. I stamped the sentiment in Always Artichoke onto a strip of Very Vanilla and flagged one end. This is adhered to the snowflake.

Be sure to visit the Create with Connie and Mary website to see what the other fabulous designers have done with this sketch! I hope you get inspired to play along with us this week! Upload your fabulous creation so that we can all take a look, too! And don't forget that you can still sign up to see what all the designers have been creating for the Create Holiday Edition! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!!

  1. This came out great.. I really like those colors together. This would be a great stamp set for the Spotlighting Technique too. The addition of the Glitter snowflakes really makes it pop!
