iSpy 32

Good morning, Friends! I hope your week is off to a great start! We are just settling into our weekly routine around here! I got four loads of laundry done yesterday and need to get two more done today. No problem - right? Lol!! Rain is forecasted for today and tomorrow and I really hope it does! We need it SO badly!! And rain would be a nice diversion from the hot and dry that it has been ALL summer long! The colors are turning up in the mountains. My friend Becky went up there last week and took some awesome pictures! Down in the valley, I noticed a few trees were starting to turn color as well. Fall is definitely coming!! Yea!!!

Today's card was inspired by the sketch at iSpy. This is not my usual style and it seems kind of busy to me. But I love these papers from the Orchard Harvest designer paper pack. The colors and patterns remind me of fall! So I followed the sketch to be able to use these papers. I layered squares of the Orchard Harvest designer papers onto a piece of Crumb Cake and then popped up this panel onto a card base of Crumb Cake. Then I stamped the apple from Perfectly Preserved in Raspberry Ripple and the stem in Lucky Limeade onto Very Vanilla. These were cut out using the Cannery framelits. I popped this up onto a 1 1/4" circle of Crumb Cake that was adhered to a 1 3/8" circle of Raspberry Ripple and then adhered to a scallop circle of Early Espresso. This was then popped up onto the card. Then I stamped the sentiment in Raspberry Ripple onto a scrap of Crumb Cake and punched it with the small oval punch and adhered a strip of Early Espresso. I popped this up onto the card. Then I strung some linen thread through an Early Espresso button and tied a bow before adhering it to the card. Finally I added a rhinestone to the apple. Thanks for stopping by and have a glorious day!
