Good morning everyone! Sorry about being MIA these last few days. My computer had a little "fever" so I had to run it to a certified Apple Care dealer which happens to be about 90 miles east of where I live. Nice, huh? So I am doing all my computer work from my husband's computer and it sure feels ancient! Ugh! He needs a new computer SO bad!! But you didn't come to hear about my computer issues. No! You are here for the Create with Connie and Mary challenge - yea!!! This week we are being challenged with a sketch. Take a look!
Isn't this awesome!!! I love this sketch! SO many possibilities with this! It was really hard to decided what to do! So here is what I finally came up with!
A super simple Christmas card! One that I think could be easily mass produced and mailed without all the bulk. I pulled out my Come to Bethlehem set and stamped the image with black StazOn onto Very Vanilla, I layered this onto a piece of Basic Black and then added the banners of Basic Black, silver glimmer paper and Newsprint designer paper. Then this panel is popped up onto a card base of Very Vanilla. I stamped the words in black StazOn and added a rhinestone to the star.
Be sure to visit the Create with Connie and Mary website to see what the other designer's created using this sketch! I hope that you are inspired to play along this week. Upload your creation so that we can all take a look! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a super day!
