CCMC 224

Good morning! Welcome to another Thursday challenge from the Create with Connie and Mary team! This week we are being challenged with color. Take a look at these fun colors!

Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade and Daffodil Delight. So very pretty together! I decided to go with a Christmas card and this is what emerged!

I used the Evergreen stamp set for this card. I punched a strip of Daffodil Delight with the dotted ribbon scallop punch and adhered it to the back of a piece of designer paper from the Festival of Prints designer pack and then adhered that to a card base of Very Vanilla. On top of this I adhered a piece of Lucky Limeade. Then I stamped the tree base on Very Vanilla in Lucky Limeade (stamping off once) and then the words on top in Island Indigo. The star is stamped in Daffodil Delight. This is adhered to a piece of Island Indigo. I adhered a small piece of Daffodil Delight seam binding ribbon behind the panel and then an antique brad before popping it up onto the card.

For more inspiration, be sure to visit the Create with Connie and Mary website to see what all the other designers did with these fabulous colors. I hope that you do find time to play along this week and link up your project! We always love to see what you do!

  4. Oh my gosh, that tree looks fantastic stamped in Lucky Limeade and Island Indigo! And I love the Island Indigo background. I don't use that color nearly as much as I should!!

  5. I'm enjoying all the Christmas ideas with these colors and one of my favorites is the paper pack. It's so cool that the papers have a "blue" side and a "red" side.
