CCMC 233

Good morning, Friends! It's the first Thursday of the New Year! And it's the first Thursday challenge from the Create with Connie and Mary team! This week we have sketch challenge. Take a look!

This is a little different for me. But here's what I came up with.

I used some new products from the spring mini catalog! So much fun to play with new toys!! I flagged a strip of designer paper from the Print Poetry paper stack and adhered it to a piece of Crumb Cake. Then I took three strips of Midnight Muse card stock and ran them through the Big Shot using the Honeycomb embossing folder. These are adhered to the card. I stamped the flower image from Oh, Hello three times onto Very Vanilla using Gumball Green and Midnight Muse markers. I cut these out and popped them up onto each strip. Then I inked up just the 'thanks' using the Midnight Muse marker and stamped it onto the Crumb Cake piece. I added three metallic brads and adhered this panel to a card base of Midnight Muse.

Be sure to visit the Create with Connie and Mary site and see what the other designers did with this sketch. I do hope that you will be inspired to play along this week! Upload your creation to the website so that we can all see! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

  1. This was a little different for me also Deb. You did a super job with the sketch. I like how all the flowers are lined up and flowing in the same direction. Super way to use all the new goodies!

  4. This is really beautiful Deb - love the combination of DSP and your use of Midnight Muse (my fave blue by far at the moment). Oh I can't wait to get this embossing folder - I stalked the postman today but he didn't bring my pre-order :(
