Retro 46

Good morning, Friends! It's another cold morning that I wanted to stay under the blankets! My husband informed me that it is warmer than yesterday at 0. Wow!! So many frozen pipes around the area. I am so thankful that everything seems to be working great around here! Need to get the laundry going so we can start packing. And it does happen to be my birthday but for me it is still Wednesday. I love my family and they will find a way to make it special :)

Today's card was inspired by the sketch at Retro Sketches. I loved that I could use some of my favorite papers from More Amore! I punched a strip of Basic Grey with the dotted ribbon scallop punch and adhered the papers to that then to a piece of Naturals Ivory. Below that I stamped the greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes in Basic Grey. I tied a piece of Basic Grey stitched grosgrain around this and rounded the bottom right hand corner before popping it up onto a card base of Naturals Ivory. Then I cut a heart from Primrose Petals using the Hearts a Flutter framelits dies and sponged the edges with Primrose Petals. This is popped up onto the card and a pearl was added.
