Good morning, everyone! I am here to bring you the latest challenge from the Create with Connie and Mary team! This week we are being challenged with color! And pretty colors they are! Take a look!
Raspberry Ripple, Pretty in Pink and Lucky Limeade. Don't they just look springy and fresh? Love it! Especially since there is still quite the snow scene out my window. I wanted to do something with Valentines with these colors but then decided a different direction. Take a look!
I went in a springy direction! I stamped the oval image from Oh, Hello in Pretty in Pink onto Whisper White and the words in Raspberry Ripple and then cut it out with the Ovals framelits dies. I also cut an oval out of a piece of Whisper White and then ran it through the Big Shot again using the Honeycomb embossing folder. The stamped oval is adhered to a card base of Whisper White. The embossed piece has a piece of Raspberry Ripple stitched satin ribbon tied around it. Then the panel is popped up over the stamped image. I cut two stems from Lucky Limeade using the Little Leaves sizzlet. These are adhered to the card. I used the Beautiful Wings embosslit to cut butterflies from Raspberry Ripple and Pretty in Pink card stock. I layered two of them together, popped it up onto the card and then added a rhinestone!
Be sure to visit the Create with Connie and Mary site to see what the other designers did with these fabulous colors! I hope that you will be inspired to play along with us this week! We always love to see what you do with our challenges! Thanks for stopping and have a super day!

ReplyDeleteSuch a cute, springy card! Love how you did the stamped oval behind the honeycomb paper. I'm just sad that I won't be able to participate in the challenge this time since I'm off visiting my parents! :)
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Beautiful CAS card with all that lovely white space. Great use of the challenge colors, Deb.
ReplyDeleteI love the direction you went in with this card. It's nice to see all the pink on a non-Valentine card. Beautiful!
