Hello Everyone! I am actually writing this on Sunday but hoping it will post tomorrow (Monday).

I am leaving today (boy it feels weird to write the future), and thought that I wouldn't have time to post a card so that's why I am doing this on Sunday. Actually, I am pre-posting the week's worth of cards hoping that they will post when they are supposed to!

This afternoon I went to play a while at Becky's (I am always so much more motivated when I am with someone else). This card layout was one she had done with a stamp club that she is a part of. I thought it was really simple so I copied it - changing the stamps and colors, of course! I also need to use up my In Colors and get ready for the NEW In Colors! I get to pre-order on July 7th!! I am so excited! Here's to hoping this shows up when it's supposed to! Enjoy!

Rusty Rose

Good Morning everyone! It felt so good to be able to sleep in a little this morning! I have so much to do before Nick and I leave tomorrow morning! There is a mountain of laundry in my house! So after I wash it all it will get packed away! If I forget something, I can have my husband bring it with him when he comes later in the week. I am really looking forward to spending time with my family! And getting out of town is always fun, too!!

Today's card is one I came up with from following a sketch. It is actually pretty simple and basic but I really like the colors. Be aware that there will be a lot of other cards done with these same colors. I guess I should really challenge myself and use something different. We will see! For the rose, I stamped it on the white panel and used blender pens to color then I stamped it again on scratch paper and colored and cut out just the rose bud. That is popped up on top of the first stamped rose - just for a little dimension! Enjoy the last of your weekend!

Celebrate Your Day!

Good Morning everyone! It's the weekend! I hope that you all are able to stay cool and enjoy a relaxing day! I really wished I could have slept in a little but here I am - up at the crack of dawn! I was out late last night stamping it up with my bestest buddies Sherry and Becky! Well, Sherry had to leave a little earlier than I did but we had a fabulous time! I needed to get some new cards done for the blog and so we were in Becky's stamping studio stamping away! We all accomplished a good amount! I will be showing you my creations through next week. Well, I am going to attempt to show you through next week. Becky showed me how to set my posts so that while I am gone (next week) they will appear for me! Cool!! Now I just hope it works!! Anyway, that will start on Tuesday. Monday will be my last 'live' post. Which means that I am going to try to make it back to Becky's again tomorrow to make a few more cards to post while I am gone. Anyway, all that blah, blah, blah to let you know that I am excited to share what I created! And they were all from sketches!! I didn't even really copy! You will have to excuse the color combinations. I seemed to really have gotten stuck in the earth elements! They are my favorites!

Today's card could go for a 'guy' card, I think. I don't know how men feel about ribbon. But the ribbon is black (a guy color). But you could replace it with hemp or linen thread if your guy wouldn't go for the ribbon. I really liked the way it turned out. And it was pretty easy to put together! It is probably hard to tell from the photo but I stamped the horse in Creamy Caramel on the Creamy Caramel piece (over the celebrate) and then repeated the stamping without re-inking to make it look like it was running. Kind Motifs

Good Morning! It's finally Friday! It's Country Jam around this area! I don't do Country Jam (too hot and too many people) but it sure is a big deal! Lots of traffic and campers and I don't dare go to the grocery store right now! It started last night and will continue through Sunday. Then I leave Monday for Kansas! I get to spend a week with my family! I am really looking forward to it!

Today's card is one I am finishing up for a swap. I saw this sketch on another blog and really liked it. I think it has lots of possibilities! For the swap I had to use items that are not retiring. I found that harder than I thought! That means no In Colors! I will be really sad to see those colors go. But I am excited for a change! This card is pretty easy and self explanatory. The 'kind' panel is popped up and so is the top flower. I just love the dimension of dimensionals! Enjoy!

Patchwork Blossoms

Good Morning everyone! I hope that your day is off to a fantastic start! Just think, the weekend is almost here! I can't believe that this will be the last weekend of June! Where is the summer going and why does it have to get there so fast? Yikes!

Today's card is one that I am not real excited about. I tried to follow a sketch and came up with this one. This card is a great way to use up some of those scraps of designer paper. And it is pretty easy to do. The sketch used a square card but I like to keep my cards to the "normal" 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. When I put the layers on I just glued the designer papers and the cardstock blocks together first and then wrapped my ribbon around that. Then I pierced some holes in each of the opposite corners. I would like to try this card again sometime but change it up a little. Again, not my favorite but maybe it will inspire you. Let me know what you come up with! Enjoy!

Flower Bag

Good Morning! I hope that you all are doing great today! I just want to briefly update you on my softball injuries. It seems now my ankle has decided to swell up to astronomic proportions. Now instead of an elephant knee, I have an elephant ankle! My knee still looks hideous but I am still moving around! I guess the older one gets the longer one takes to heal. I will just have to be patient!

Today I am showing a little project that I happen to come across. I think it is so cute! I don't know exactly what to call it so I am calling it a bag. And it was fairly easy to put together! Friend

Good Morning! I am up earlier today but it took me three tries to get a picture of this card. I won't go into all the details. I did hear from a friend of mine that you should re-format your SD card in your camera when you delete pictures from it. I haven't ever done that and I am thinking that I will probably try that today! I don't know if that was my problem but it can't hurt.

Today's card is one that I found while blog surfing yesterday. The stamps she used are ones I don't have and I wanted to change the colors up a bit. So, here's my creation! I am trying to think of something that I can work up for convention. However, I won't be showing those cards until right before convention! Anyway, I kind of liked how it turned out. I used my markers on the stamp and colored with Garden Green and Really Rust. Then I stamped the flower part in Really Rust again and cut it out. That has a brad in the middle and is popped up. The Kraft panel is popped up as well. I can't even remember when the last time was that I used Garden Green. It's just not one of my favorites. Enjoy your day!

Western Skies

Good Morning! I am a little late in getting a post out. I wanted to finish a book that I was reading. And then when I came downstairs to post, I wasn't sure that I really had anything. I thought that maybe I might make up a new card real quick but that was taking too long. So, I am posting a card that I am less than thrilled with. I will try to work something up for tomorrow!

Anyway, this layout is exactly like a couple of days ago. I just used different colors, papers and stamps. You might say that this is in the more masculine category. I really like the layout and would like to try some different things with it. I used the Wanted set and stamped the medallion thingy in Bayou Blue onto River Rock. Then punched it out with the scallop punch. Then after messing around for a bit I punched the middle out of it and then the very center. I ended up stamping the medallion thingy again onto Bayou Blue and popping the River Rock part up on top of the Bayou Blue and off-setting it just a bit. The very center was just glued down and a brad through the center. Then I popped the whole medallion thingy again. I hope all of this made some sort of sense. It's not a bad card, just not my favorite. I hope it helps your creative juices. Enjoy your Monday!

I'm Back!

Good Afternoon! I am back from our wonderful Rockies weekend! It was great! We are looking forward to doing it again before the summer is over (don't have much time left). The Rockies lost Friday 6-2 and won Saturday 7-1. And maybe you are all wondering how I fared after my softball incident? or not... Well, my knee is very unrecognizable! It remained pretty swollen through Friday. It is now the color of purple (deep, dark). At one point we all laughed and said I had a knee that looked like an elephant! Now, though, it seems that the swelling has gone down a little but the color is 'hideous' (as Nick likes to say). Anyway, I am doing much better but I am in no shape to be playing any softball for a little while!

So, today's card comes from a layout that Becky did at a recent card class. Hers was more 'fourth of Julyish' so I just replaced stars with flowers. Very quick and easy! Don't forget to pop up those flowers! Enjoy your day and have a great week!

Embrace/Softball

Good Morning All! Are you all ready for a super hot weekend? Well, at least here in Colorado! My family and I are headed to Denver to watch the Rockies play the Mets for tonight's and tomorrow night's games! I am so excited! I am trying to get the last of the laundry done and then get the car washed and, and... I know there was something else. Oh, well. I will think of it later!

So, I know that you are all dying to hear how I fared at the softball games last night! O.k. Maybe you aren't 'dying' but I will tell you anyway. I didn't do too bad! I am quite proud of myself! The first game I struck out once and then hit a single. I did make it around the bases. I played left center and rushed a ball to stop a double. We won that game 24 to 9 (or something like that). Now for the second game. I don't even quite know how to start. I was number four up to bat. I get up and hit it close to second so I knew that I needed to put the speed on to outrun the throw. As I am running to first, my legs come out from under me and I find myself flying forward onto the ground flat on my chest and sliding toward first base - WELL short of first base. The first baseman/woman, misses the throw because she is too busy looking at me! I am laying there thinking 'so this is what it comes down to, a fourty year old woman looking like an idiot!' Then I hear my team yelling (because they are in the dugout beside first base), 'oooo! Get up! Hurry! You can make it!' So, what did I do? I got up and ran the rest of the way to first! YIKES!!! It was then that my team comes out to make sure that I am really o.k. Well, now I have to say yes! My ego was hurt more that anything! I was so embarrassed! I did make it around to score a run, though. So, then I am in the outfield where the ball hardly comes to you, right? Not with the team that we played! It seemed like every other hit was right between me and second base! UGH! And then I am thinking, 'man, my knee feels funny'. So, I pull up my capri sweats and find it swollen to the size of a potato! Well, this would be the inning that would take forever to get three outs. We finally did and when I got back to the dugout, we were starting the line-up all over again and I was number four! So, when I get up to bat I hit it toward the shortstop but I don't run near as fast as before (gee, I wonder why) and get out (bummer) but I got an RBI!! Needless to say, I wasn't the only one who fell over her own two feet. There were two other players who did and we ended up losing. I really don't remember the score. I had so much fun and I would love to show you all the bruises and road rash and scrapes but I will spare you for now. My husband did take a picture of my pathetic self last night. My son and my husband were very proud of me! I can't wait to do it again (after I completely heal)! Anyway, thanks for listening to my story. Those of you who know me can have a good laugh as you see me "sliding" toward first!

Now to the card... This was a sketch I saw on someone's blog. I took the sketch along with me when I was at Emily's and decided to give it a try. I actually made two cards with it but I liked this one better. I will probably show the other one later. It's really very simple and self-explanatory but if you have questions please let me know! Ginger Birthday

Good Morning, everyone! I am starting this day out with a nervous stomach. My wonderful friend and co-worker asked me to fill-in on their softball team for tonight. It's co-ed and they need a female so she asked me! While I am totally flattered and I know that it will be really fun, I am thinking, well, what AM I thinking? I mean, I haven't played in like a bajillion years!!! Anyway, their team doesn't sound real competitive but we all want to win, right? So, I am going over to her house in a few hours to practice. Then she can decide if I am really worthy or not. Pray for me!! It's a double header tonight!! My son, on the other hand, ended his season last night and he is really excited to cheer on his mom. Thinking about that makes me want to do this! Anyway, I will let you know how it goes.

Today's card is one that I picked up off someone's blog. Actually it is really just the layout that I copied. There isn't anything difficult about this one. I don't know if you can see the River Rock cardstock peeking out from behind the Ginger Blossoms designer paper but it's there! Of course the flower is popped up but so is the birthday part of happy birthday. And a button in the corner finishes it off. I haven't used those buttons in quite a while. Enjoy your day!

Afternoon Thanks

Good Morning! It is going to be one beautifully hot and sunny day! And the forecast is more of that to come. I am sure glad that our air conditioner is working!!

Today's card is one that I came up with when I was playing at Becky's house and using her stamp set. It's one that the shoebox club did last night. I couldn't be there so my wonderful friend, Sherry, took my place and guided the group in making this card. Thanks, Sherry! You're the best! I am going to say that this card is very easy to put together, so I hope that the group didn't have any trouble putting it all together! I just want to point out the bouquet of flowers... If you notice, the bouquet has two colors in it (Wild Wasabi and Groovy Guava). But it is only one stamp. And, if you are a real Stampin' Up! expert, you will note that we don't sell markers in those colors. You may be asking yourself, then, 'how'? Well, let me tell you... Take the re-inkers of each of those colors and put some into the lids of their corresponding ink pads. Then take a q-tip and dip it into the re-inker and dab it onto the stamp just like you would if it were a marker! Clever, huh!! I saw my friend, Emily, do this once. Anyway, everything else should be self-explanatory. Enjoy your day!

Dream Thanks

Good Morning, All! It's going to be another hot one today! We are going to the movies this morning and then have lunch at the park. I know that it will be cool in the theater (I usually get really cold in there). We will be seeing the Second Jungle Book. Should be fun!

Today's card is one we made at my stamp club this month. I really love this card! Do you recognize the layout? I used this same layout on June 5th's card! As I was playing with this set this layout just popped into my head. I think it turned out great! I think that my clubbers loved it, too. We stamped the whole stamp in Wild Wasabi on the Whisper White panel then stamped the flower portion in Groovy Guava and cut them out. They each have a brad in the middle and are popped up over the green flowers. Then I stuck the Afternoon Tea paper to the back of the Chocolate Chip panel and tied my Wild Wasabi double stitched ribbon. After gluing that panel down I popped up the Whisper White panel and glued the 'thanks' to the top of that. I hope that all made sense! Live Your Dream

Good Morning Bloggers! The beginning of another new week! My, but the summer seems to be going very fast! That's not good for me. I will soon have to start thinking about the starting of the school year and that means a reduced amount of stamping time. But, as for today... I get to play with my good friend, Emily! And for that I am really excited! Hopefully I will be productive and get some great cards done to be able to post!

Today's card layout is one that I got from Becky's card class. I also used her stamps for this one. The stamps are from Live Your Dream. You can find it in the Occasions mini catalog which is still good through this month. I just love this set! I didn't get it but it is really beautiful. The card is pretty simple. The ribbon might give you a head cramp (like it did mine until Becky explained it to me). So, let me try to explain it to you. Glue down the middle panel. Then take a piece of ribbon and tape it behind the left panel and glue the panel down leaving the ribbon hanging out. Then take another piece of ribbon and tape it to the right panel and glue that panel down. Then take both pieces of ribbon that are hanging out and tie them together on the left hand side! There! Try it out and let me know if it doesn't make sense. Of course, the scallop flower is popped up. I did pierce some holes at the bottom to the word 'thanks'. One other thing: I think that I would have stamped off with the bouquet of flowers to make them lighter (bottom right hand corner). Enjoy!!

Whoo Hoo!

Happy Father's Day! That probably doesn't concern anyone reading this post but I thought I would say it just in case. I know that I miss my dad dearly but, mom, when you read this tell him I love him! We are going to the movies this afternoon and just enjoy the very warm day! I don't really have a "guy" card to show you, either. I need to do more of that but when most of my card receivers are women, it gets kind of hard to make "guy" cards. Guess I should challenge myself to do that!

Any'whoo'! (Hehe! Get it? O.k. I am cracking myself up right now.) I was surfing blogs (one of my favorite pastimes) and came across this layout. Everything is exactly the same except the stamp. I have been wanting to use this owl from the Just Celebrate set for a long time and never could find the right layout for him. The original card used the Tree For All Season stamp set and it was really cute! I switched the tree out for the owl. Then I stamped the greeting and punched it with my word window punch. The only thing I would do different is glue the greeting down and put my brads through the green piece. Don't look too closely or you will see the brads from underneath the white! Enjoy!!

Full of Life

Good Morning All! I hope your day is starting out fabulous! I was just telling my mom in an e-mail that I haven't hardly had to use my air conditioner yet this summer. I think that we have had it turned on only twice! That is very odd for this time of year and we live pretty much in the desert! But, I think that is all going to change starting today. The cooler weather has been nice but it is summer so I guess I shouldn't complain.

Today's card is one that I did with my stamp club this month. I had seen this card on Splitcoast and I just changed it up a bit. There is a lot to do on this card but it is actually pretty simple. The sentiment is stamped three times in different colors. You could actually stamp the sentiment only once and use markers but I used Wild Wasabi and there is no marker for that color. So, we stamped it three times. Once is on the actual white panel that goes on the card. That is stamped in Bashful Blue. Then we stamped it again - once in Real Red and once in Wild Wasabi on scrap white and cut the words out and glued them over the Bashful Blue words. I did pop up the "Thanks". The flower is punched out and then for the leaves I punched out the flower again only in Wild Wasabi and cut two of the petals off and made them into leaves. Then, for the flower center, I used a jumbo eyelet and put a rhinestone brad in the middle (I let my club people choose if they wanted a square or a circle brad). I haven't used these rhinestone brads much and need to start getting them used up. And, of course, the flower is popped up, too! Enjoy!

Good Morning All! I hope that you are looking forward to a great weekend! I have to say that I don't look forward to the weekends during the summer. They signal the end of another week and I want the summer to last as long as possible! Of course I LOVE the weekends during the school year!!! Anyway, the weekend is here and I will rejoice and be glad in it!

Today's card is one that I did for my stamp club this month. I was surfing several blogs last week and came across a layout similar to this one. As I look at the photo it is hard to see the right side of the card. But what we did is scallop the edge with the corner rounder and then pierce holes in each scallop. It sort of gives the look of lace - sort of. The card is pretty simple, though. I used a ribbon buckle from the new Styled Silver hodgepodge kit from the Occasions mini catalog (good only through this month). I seem to have been hoarding the hodgepodge so now I am trying to use it up! I also stamped the small flower from the set and punched it out and put a brad in the middle. And, of course, popped up the enjoy and the flower each. So, I hope that you enjoy the card, your day and the weekend!

Embrace The Rose

Hello All! I had a little trouble logging in this morning but all seems to be going as it should. We will see! Another cool day for us for the month of June but no one is complaining! I know that many parts of the country are not as fortunate with the good weather like we are here and for them I send my prayers.

Today's card is one I found somewhere and copied it (and of course changed it up a bit). I love this set - Embrace Life - but I haven't used the rose image, yet. So, when I came across this card I knew that I wanted to give it a try. It's really a very simple card. I stamped the rose image three times in Basic Gray and then watercolored the images with blender pens. Then I punched them out with my key tag punch. I sponged around the edges a bit and popped them up on Certainly Celery. See? Easy!! Enjoy your day!

Celebrate!

Good Morning, All! Wow! Today is a complete opposite of what yesterday was! Yesterday was sunny and hot! Today? Well, it is super windy and very cool! I haven't totally put away all my sweaters yet because I can't figure out if summer is really here! I am thankful for the cool days... but it is summer. It's hard to want to go swimming when it's like this. So, today we are going to the free movies. Nick wants to see Flushed Away. I don't care what the movie is when it's free!!! Should be fun!

Last night I was at Becky's card class. Oooohh! She had some GREAT layouts! I can't wait to try some of those out! Tomorrow I get to play with Emily so I will try some out then! Today's card is one I started to copy from the current catalog (page 54). Their card was a 3 x 3 love note. I think the love notes are cute but you can't mail them. And I mail most of my cards. So, I tried to make it into a regular card sized card. This is what I came up with. Not my favorite but it works. I don't hate it anyway. I was also hoping to use some of my In Color items as they will be retiring at the end of July. The Close to Cocoa piece behind the main image is punched from the photo corner punch. Stitched Pomegranate

Good Morning, Everyone! Today is a day that I did sleep in a little later! Yea!! It feels really good but now I am having a hard time waking up! Guess I need to get the blood flowing a little by doing some stamping!

Last night I had a GREAT stamp club! I just love all those ladies! I will show those cards later. Today's card is becoming one of my favorites. The only thing that most people will complain about (including me) is having to cut out the two flowers and the "leaf" image. But I just love the look I get when I cut them out. Don't worry, stamp club, I won't make you do anything like this! This one is just for show. Like yesterday's card, I did pop up the bigger flower and then the smaller flower as well. Stitched Exotics

Good Morning all! I can't believe I am up this early. I just don't know why I don't sleep in a little more when I can and then when I have to get up, it seems that I have no problem sleeping too long! I think that when I know that I have a day off, that I want to get started doing those things that I really want to do - like STAMP! And, that is what I have done the last few days. It has really felt good! I have a lot of cards to show you all. I just hope that I don't forget what I have shown and what I haven't.

Well, today's card is pretty much copied from my good friend, Becky. I was at her house last Friday doing some stamping and I went through her basket of samples. Well, this was one of her samples and I just loved it! Actually it was done with other colors and a silk flower and she had used her cuttlebug to emboss dots on the white piece but the layout is exactly the same! I think that hers was much easier to put together but I still like the result of mine. I did a lot of cutting on this one and that made it tedious. The Soft Sky flower and the middle Bayou Blue part are each popped up. I hope to find some other ways to use the same great layout. Thanks, Becky! And thank you for stopping by! Enjoy your day!

"Green" Flower!

Hello, Bloggers! I hope that you are having a wonderfully, happy, sun-filled Sunday! I am so excited that I can finally post cards for a whole week!!! It has been so fun to get back into stamping and posting to all of you and it gives me great satisfaction to know that people are looking at my projects! Well, all 3 of you!!

Anyway, here is a card that I came across one day while I was blog surfing. I pretty much copied it color for color, stamp for stamp. I don't think that I changed anything but then I can't remember because I did make this a while back. I know that my friend, Becky, is cringing (or will be when she sees this) at the "green" flower. And, to you, Becky, I want to tell you that I did make this card using other colors but I really didn't like it as well as this one. So, it is the green flower that I post.

Some details that might be hard to notice at first glance - I distressed the blue panel and then popped it up over the ribbon. Then I stamped the flower in River Rock on River Rock and cut it out (the flower is stamped in Bayou Blue on the the white first). The cut out flower is popped up, too. I used the VersaMarker to color in the middle part of the cut out flower to darken it just a bit. And then there is the build-a-brad in the middle! A fun card! Hope you enjoy it, too! Hello All! I am off to a baseball game in a few minutes but I thought I would try to post a card before I left. If I don't do it now, it seems that the day will get away from me and then I won't get it done! Anyway, I hope that you are all having a great weekend!

This is a super simple card that I made a while back. I pretty much copied the idea from another blogger. I did change the paper and colors and the greeting but the layout is exactly the same.

The only stamping is the greeting. I also thought that a little (or bigger) flower would be cute cut out and popped up somewhere but I also kind of liked it plain like this. So, you all can decide what else you would like to do with this one. I thought this card is great for any of those scrap pieces of designer paper that you have left lying around. I know I have a ton! I did round the bottom corners of the olive designer paper but that's about it!

Embrace Tropical

Good Morning! After all the rain we have had the past two days it is really foggy outside! The sun is out so my guess is that it will be pretty humid outside. Yuck! The rain has been great! But it is summer so I guess it should be hot. I hope that your Friday will be sunny and wonderful as well.

Today's card comes from a layout from Becky's card class. I have card class next week so I should have more great layouts to copy! Anyway, This is the Stampin' Up! version of her card. It's all really simple and self explanatory. I did use the Not Quite Navy brads which I thought complimented the Bayou Blue cardstock. The Bayou Blue double stitched ribbon is tied together with linen thread that was doubled. I did pop up the Soft Sky panel and the flower. Pretty simple! Enjoy and have a great weekend!

Good Morning All! I don't know what your day is like but mine is starting out with clouds and rain. It has been raining since last night! And June is typically our driest month! And, I have to say that I am down right cold!! With my husband's line of work, he LOVES this kind of weather. Well, the rain may slow him down but he definitely loves the cooler weather! It's a great day to be lazy and drink coffee!!!

Today's card uses the Embrace Life set. Did I say that I just love this set? I saw this card on splitcoast and had to copy it. I copied the layout but I changed the colors just a bit. I loved how elegant the card turned out. I hope you do too! The flowers are actually punched out of Ruby Red cardstock using the Three For You punch (from the punch box). I thought that they fit just perfectly on this card with a black brad in the middle. You may not be able to tell, but I used the Itty Bitty Backgrounds on the main image and then sponged. Enjoy!!

Good Morning, Everyone! Today is another lovely day! Our high is not supposed to be much above 70!! And tomorrow it is only supposed to be in the 60's! And it is supposed to snow in the mountains! Ahhh! I just love sitting back and sipping my coffee!! I hope that you all have a wonderful day as well!

Yesterday I posted a card using the Embrace Life set. Well, I hope that you don't get too sick of it as it is one of my very favorite sets and I have been using it quite a bit! So that means you all will be seeing a lot more of it.

Today's card is another layout from Becky's card class. (I can't wait for this month's class so I have some more layouts to try out!) This layout is real simple. I also used just about the same colors that she did for hers. I don't know if you can tell from the photo or not, but I did use the Itty Bitty Backgrounds to fill in some white space. Otherwise, it is a pretty simple card! Enjoy!

Ginger Blossom

Good Morning All! It's a beautiful day for me! I sometimes wonder why I don't sleep in a little longer on these summer days but then I find that I don't want to waste these wonderful days in bed when I can be stamping!! Plus, my son and I are going to the movies this morning. The movie theater does free movies for families on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. It's just a fun thing to do in the summers.

As promised yesterday, I am posting a card that uses the same layout as yesterday's card. I just switched out the punched focal point for the flower. I just love this set! You all will be seeing a lot more cards using this set, Embrace Life. I do hope it will be in the next catalog. I would love to work something up for convention swaps using this set! Designer Paper/Punches Card

Hello Everyone! I hope that you all have not given up on me! I hope to be back for a while, now. School is out for the summer and I am itching to stamp something!! My parents came out for the week last week and it was great to spend some time with them! I even got to stamp a little with my mom.

This card was one I "whipped" up at the last minute. I needed to come up with a card for a swap, quick (as I waited until the last minute to think up something). Anyway, thanks to my friend, Becky, I was able to copy one of her layouts and use it for my swap! This is really one that can be done quite quickly and doesn't require much stamping at all. I used a lot of punches! The greeting is the only thing that is stamped. I did pop up the flower on top of the circles and then popped up the scallop image as well. I will post another card tomorrow that uses this same layout. Enjoy and I will be back tomorrow!!!
