The Stamp Review Crew: You've Got This

Hello everyone! It's time for another fun blog hop with The Stamp Review Crew! This time around we are featuring the You've Got This stamp set! I am your stop after the fabulous Debra Burgin!

I picked an older card that I had done and used the layout for this card. Why reinvent the wheel? Lol! I also knew that I wanted to try out the watercolor look with blender pens and watercolor paper. Too fun!

• Card base is Tip Top Taupe
• Stamp the background stamp from the You've Got This stamp set onto a piece of Pink Pirouette using Pink Pirouette ink and round the corners using the Project Life corner rounder
• Stamp the greeting onto the card base using Tip Top Taupe ink
• Wrap a piece of Tip Top Taupe dotted lace trim around the panel and tie the ends together using a piece of white baker's twine
• Adhere panel to card with dimensionals
• Stamp the flower image onto a piece of watercolor paper using VersaMark ink and emboss with white emboss powder
• Color the image with a blender pen and Mint Macaron, Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey inks
• Cut out the flower and adhere to card with dimensionals

Got This Wisteria

Good morning everyone! I hope your week is going great! The summer seems to be flying away! Wow! Only four more weeks and school starts! I have been enjoying every minute of my summer! Tomorrow we leave for Kansas to see family! I am really looking forward to that!

Today's card is another simple one! Gotta love that!

• Card base is Very Vanilla
• On a piece of Typeset specialty designer paper stamp the background stamp from the You've Got This stamp set using Sahara Sand ink and then sponge the edges using Sahara Sand ink
• Adhere paper to a piece of Basic Black card stock then adhere to card with dimensionals
• Stamp the Greeting using black StazOn
• Stamp the flower onto a piece of Very Vanilla using black StazOn
• Color the flower in using an aqua painter and Wisteria Wonder and Old Olive inks then cut out
• Adhere flower to card with dimensionals
• Punch a flower from Wisteria Wonder card stock using the itty bitty accents punch pack
• Adhere a pearl to flower center

CCMC Saturday Blog Hop: Pop Out Swing Fold Card

Hello everyone! It's time again for the Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop! This week we are featuring Pop Out Swing Fold cards! I am your stop right after the fabulous Debbie Henderson!

I had never even heard of this type of card before - lol! This card is really easy to make! I had a lot of fun making this! The first picture shows the front of the card (it was hard to get a picture of it closed all the way). I also used some fun new products and colors!

And this is a picture of the inside!

• Card base is Whisper White cut at 8 1/2" x  5 1/2" and fold in half
• Use the Squares framelits to cut a square out of the front of the card making sure to keep the cut out square for the stamped panel
• Cut another piece of Whisper White at 5" x 6" and score at 2" and 4" making sure the 6" side is at the top
• Fold on the scored lines and adhere the last folded panel to the inside back of the card
• Stamp the background stamp from the You've Got This stamp set onto the square panel using Soft Sky ink then adhere the panel to the first panel of the folded piece (hint: close the card and adhere so that the square fits inside the cut out square
• Stamp the flower image onto a piece of Whisper White using Tuxedo black Momento ink and color using Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush and Delightful Dijon inks and a blender pen
• Cut the flower out and adhere to inside square panel with dimensionals
• Stamp the greeting on the front of the card using Tuxedo black Momento ink
• Punch a flower from Watermelon Wonder card stock using itty bitty accents punch pack and adhere to front of card
• Add a rhinestone to the flower center

Control Freaks Blog Tour: New Product!

Hello everyone! It's time for another blog tour with the Freaks! This month we are featuring products from the new catalog that will debut on June 2! I am your stop right after the fabulous Heidi Boos! So sit back and enjoy the tour!!

While I did get a couple of new stamp sets, I took the time to show off the new colors! They are just so yummy!! So here are two very simple cards!

• Card base is Tip Top Taupe
• Stamp the background image from You've Got This onto the card base using Tip Top Taupe
• Stamp the greeting from Crazy About You onto a piece of Mint Macaron using Bermuda Bay ink
• Tie a piece of Mint Macaron dotted lace trim around the panel and adhere to card base using dimensionals
• Stamp the flower images from the Crazy About You stamp set onto a piece of Whisper White using Delightful Dijon and punch out using the scallop circle punch then adhere the bottom one to the Mint Macaron panel and the top one using dimensionals
• Add pearls to flower centers

My second card is much brighter and so much fun! 

• Card base is Cucumber Crush
• Adhere a piece of Cherry on Top designer paper to the card base
• Stamp the greeting from the Crazy About You stamp set onto a piece of Pool Party using Bermuda Bay ink
• Tie a piece of Whisper White cotton ribbon around the panel and adhere to card base
• Cut a banner from Whisper White and adhere to card
• Use the Bitty Butterfly punch to punch butterflies from Watermelon Wonder, Crushed Curry and Bermuda Bay card stock and adhere them to the banner with glue dots
• Add rhinestones to butterfly bodies
