Endless Christmas Wishes

Good morning, Friends! Another week is starting! I can't believe how quickly these days are going! I haven't done much Christmas shopping - Yikes! And this week is going to be very busy!! I hope I can sneak some in somewhere! We will be leaving a week from Friday so everything has to be done by then!! But for tonight I have to get ready for my workshop! Thankfully I have the cards ready. I just need to cut the kits and get packed. I'm looking forward to seeing a great group of ladies!

Today's card was inspired by one I had seen on Pinterest. I had to change just a few little things because of limited supplies but I just love how the stamping of the snowflakes was stamped. I think that's what caught my eye in the first place. Here are the details:

  • Card base is Cherry Cobbler
  • Layer of Crumb Cake
  • On Crumb Cake layer stamp snowflakes from Endless Wishes in Crumb Cake
  • Stamp Greeting using Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler
  • Sponge edges with Whisper White craft ink
  • Adhere a strip of Seasons of Style designer paper to edge
  • Tie a piece of Cherry Cobbler baker's twine around panel and adhere to card base with dimensionals
  • Add three rhinestones
A super simple Christmas card! I also love that this would be easy to reproduce and mail! A great idea for a last minute Christmas card! Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!

Good morning, Friends! It's the weekend! Looks like it is supposed to snow around here again. It looks all cloudy and gloomy outside, anyway. And it looks really cold! Brr! Thankfully I don't have to really do anything anywhere today so I will enjoy my nice warm house and hopefully get some stamping and stitching done!

Today's card really fits the way it looks outside! I had originally made this for the CCMC color challenge this week. We are supposed to use current product. Well, this set has sold out so it's not considered current anymore. I do love this set so I thought I would share this card anyway. Here are the details:

  • Card base is Whisper White
  • Use the Delicate Doilies sizzlit to cut a doily from Whisper White and adhere to a layer of Whisper White with dimensionals
  • Adhere layer to card with dimensionals
  • Punch a circle from Night of Navy with the 1 3/4" circle punch
  • Stamps large snowflake from Endless Wishes in VersaMark and emboss with gold emboss powder then stan two smaller snowflakes in Whisper White craft ink
  • Adhere punched circle to card
  • Stamp "merry" onto strip of Whisper White with VersaMark ink and emboss with gold emboss powder then stamp rest of greeting with Night of Navy ink
  • Flag end of strip and adhere to card
I did use the sketch from My Favorite Things to help me put this all together. Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!

CCMC 276

Good morning, Friends! I know it's been a while since I've shared anything. I am trying to get ahead on some of my design team commitments because I need to get going on my Christmas gifts! Yikes! I read somewhere that there are only 8 weeks till Christmas! Since I am making a lot of my gifts, I need to get sewing! So that is what I have been up to. But today is the Thursday challenge from the Create with Connie and Mary team. This week they are challenging us with color. Take a look at these beautiful colors!

Aren't they beautiful?! Love these and will be using these again! Smoky Slate, Coastal Cabana, and Real Red. Here's my card.

So I decided to go with a non-traditional Christmas card. While red is a traditional Christmas color, the others - not so much. But I love how the Smoky Slate resembles silver! I recently got this beautiful new photopolymer stamp set called Endless Wishes. I LOVE this set!! I love snowflakes anyway but the words are awesome! Here are the card details:

  • Card base is Real Red cut at 4 1/4" x 11" and folded in half
  • Layer of Smoky Slate cut at 4 1/4" x 2 1/2"
  • Stamp the snowflakes from Endless Wishes in Smoky Slate onto the Smoky Slate layer in a random pattern
  • Strip of Coastal Cabana cut at 4 1/4" x 1" and adhere to back of Smoky Slate layer then adhere to card base
  • Use the Deco Label framelits to cut a label from Whisper White
  • Stamp words from Endless wishes using Real Red and Coastal Cabana then use dimensionals to adhere to card
  • Stamp snowflake from Endless Wishes in Coastal Cabana onto Whisper White and cut out then pop up onto card
  • Add a rhinestone to snowflake center
Be sure to check out the rest of the designers' work at the Create with Connie and Mary website! I hope you will be inspired to play along with us this week!
