CCMC Saturday Blog Hop: Best Day Ever

Hello everyone! Welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary Saturday blog hop! We are getting excited for the upcoming Card Create-tions Celebrations edition! I am your stop after the very talented Debbie Henderson. 

• Card base is Whisper White
• Stamp the dots image from the Best Day Ever stamp set several times without reinking using Soft Sky ink
• Stamp the sentiment onto another piece of Whisper White using Blackberry Bliss ink and punch out using the 1 3/4" circle punch
• Stamp the stem image onto the circle and stamp the heart image to act as leaves using Old Olive ink
• Adhere circle to card with dimensionals
• Stamp the flower image onto a piece of Whisper White card stock using Blackberry Bliss ink and cut out then adhere to circle
• Thread a piece of linen thread through a Hello Honey button from the In Color accessory pack and tie a bow then adhere to flower center

Good morning everyone! It's time for another great challenge at Create with Connie and Mary! This week we have a fun sketch to work with! Take a look!

I wanted to do something a little different so here is what I came up with!

I used the Best Day Ever and Simply wonderful SAB sets and I like how it came out! 

• Card base is Whisper White
• Cut another piece of Whisper White at an angle
• Stamp the stem image from the Best Day Ever stamp set onto the panel using Mossy Meadow ink three times
• Stamp the heart image (as leaves) onto the stems using Mossy Meadow ink
• Stamp the flower image onto a piece of Whisper White three times using Strawberry Slush, Daffodil Delight and Blushing Bride inks and cut each out then adhere to the stems
• Add rhinestones to flower centers
• Tie a piece of Mossy Meadow stitched satin ribbon around the panel
• Cut a strip of Pistachio Pudding card stock and use the fringe scissors to create the fringe and adhere to the back of the angled panel then adhere panel to card base with dimensionals
• Stamp the greeting from Simply Wonderful onto the card base at an angle using Mossy Meadow ink

Best Day Ever Club Card

Good morning everyone! I hope your week is going super so far! Mine is, well, going. Lol! I am glad it's Wednesday! A shorter day for me and hopefully some time to get some stamping and laundry done. I just hope I have some energy to do it. For some reason I am just so tired this week!

Today's card was one I did for my stamp club on Monday. It is super easy and could be for any occasion!

• Card base is Sahara Sand
• Stamp the dots image from Best Day Ever stamp set onto the card base using Sahara Sand ink
• Adhere a strip of Best Year Ever designer paper to a strip of Coastal Cabana card stock and then adhere to card
• Make a banner from Whisper White card stock and flag the bottom
• Stamp the sentiment onto the banner using Soft Suede ink
• Tie a piece of Coastal Cabana ribbon from the Best Year Ever accessory pack around the banner and adhere to card with dimensionals

Super easy card but that sentiment says it all!

Good morning everyone! I hope you are enjoying all the fun going on at Create with Connie and Mary! This week is Preview Week as we gear up for the upcoming Spring Collection! Lots of blog candy and free tutorials! Not to mention the great ideas! Today we take time to present our weekly challenge! This week we have a fun color challenge!

Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral and Crushed Curry! Bright, pretty and fun! I must confess that I was pressed for time on this one and used inspiration from the SAB catalog to come up with my card.

• Card base is Whisper White
• Stamp the dots image from Best Day Ever onto the card base using Crushed Curry ink
• Make a tag from Whisper White using the Ornate Tag Topper punch
• Stamp the sentiment onto the tag using Bermuda Bay ink and adhere tag to card with dimensionals
• Fold a piece of Calypso Coral ribbon from the Best Year Ever accessory pack in half and adhere to top of tag
• Thread a piece of white baker's twine through a Crushed Curry button from the Best Year Ever accessory pack and tie a bow then adhere to tag
