CCMC Saturday Blog Hop: Watercolor Wash

Hello everyone! It's another Saturday blog hop with the Create with Connie and Mary team! This week we are featuring cards made using the Watercolor Wash technique! I am your stop right after the fabulous Debbie Henderson

I love the watercolor look but I don't do it very often. So this was a little out of my comfort zone. But here is what I came up with!

  • Card base is Lost Lagoon
  • On a piece of watercolor paper use an aqua painter to coat the stamped area with water
  • From the lid of the Lost Lagoon and Pear Pizzazz stamp pads, pick up ink with the aqua painter and randomly add the ink to the wet paper and let it bleed into each other
  • After the ink has dried, stamp the coral image from By the Tide using black StazOn ink and stamp the greeting from Guy Greetings using the same ink (I used a black journaling pen to color in the letters)
  • Adhere the stamped panel to a piece of Basic Black card stock then adhere to the card using dimensionals
  • Stamp the fish image onto a piece of Very Vanilla using Lost Lagoon ink and cut out
  • Adhere a piece of linen thread that has been looped several times to the back of the fish and then adhere to card with dimensionals
I hope you are inspired to give this great technique a try! So many beautiful color combinations and fun ways to make a beautiful card! Now it's time to send you on to Connie Babbert's blog to see her beautiful creation! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Birthday By The Tide

Good morning, Friends! I hope your week got off to a great start! My schedule is getting filled at school so that makes me feel a little more useful and helps to pass the time more quickly. Nick has started high school soccer tryouts and that is exciting, too! My husband came home sick yesterday. Yuck!! I am really hoping it was something he ate that Nick and I didn't. He did go back to work today and by last night, he looked so much better! And so far, Nick and I are fine.

I had stamp club last night with a great group of ladies! Always love my stamp club time! Lots of laughs and great ideas shared! This is one of the cards that we did last night. It's always nice to have a stash of masculine cards.

  • Card base is Crumb Cake
  • Stamp the greeting from Something to Say onto a piece of Island Indigo card stock using Tuxedo Black Momento ink then adhere to card base
  • Stamp the coral image from By the Tide onto a piece of Crumb Cake using Crumb Cake ink then adhere to a piece of Basic Black
  • Add two mini brads to panel and adhere to card with dimensionals
  • Wrap some linen thread around a few times and adhere to card with a glue dot
  • Stamp the fish image onto a piece of Whisper White using Island Indigo ink and cut out then adhere to card with dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!!

CCMC 310

Good morning, Friends! It's time for another fabulous Thursday challenge from the Create with Connie and Mary team! This week we have these fabulous colors to work with! Take a look!

Real Red, Coastal Cabana and Night of Navy! Love these!! And my first thought was something nautical. Here's my card.

I did throw in Crumb Cake for my neutral. I do have to admit that I really like how this one turned out! It was really fun to put these colors together!

  • Card base is Crumb Cake
  • On the card base stamp the coral image from By the Tide using Crumb Cake ink
  • Flag the ends of a strip of Night of Navy and Coastal Cabana card stock then adhere to card
  • Stamp the lobster image using Real Red ink onto Crumb Cake and cut out then adhere to card with dimensionals
  • Stamp the circle image onto Crumb Cake using Coastal Cabana ink and cut out with snips (you can use the circle punch to punch it out but I like the look of it hand cut)
  • Insert a mini brad at the top of the anchor in the punched circle and then adhere to card with dimensionals
  • Stamp the greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes onto the card base using Night of Navy ink
Pretty simple card! More inspiration using these great colors are at Create with Connie and Mary! Week 2 of the Create with Connie and Mary Summer Collection is well underway! Stamp Review Crew: By the Tide

Hello everyone! It's that time again for another fabulous blog hop from the Stamp Review Crew! This time we are featuring the stamp set, By the Tide. You may have just hopped from Dawn's blog! But if you are just starting out here then you can still see all the great projects by clicking the links below! If you get lost or there are broken links, you can click the link at the top of this post to take you to the main blog and there will be a list of all the blog hop participants. Be ready to get some really fabulous ideas from this great stamp set!

I made a very super simple card using this set. I wanted to keep it masculine and nautical. Not being a nautical person I went to the High Tide designer series papers to see what colors were used in that paper. And that's where I started! Then I found a super simple sketch from Freshly Made Sketches. And here's what emerged!

I really like how it turned out even though it is very simple! And I think it would work perfectly for Father's Day, too! Here are the details:
  • Card base is Smoky Slate
  • Use the Circles framelits to cut a circle from Soft Sky card stock then cut off part of it to make it flat
  • Stamp the plant image from By the Tide in Soft Sky onto the flattened circle and sponge the edges with Soft Sky ink then adhere to card
  • Flag one end of a strip of Summer Starfruit and stamp the greeting from Four You in Pacific Point then adhere to card
  • Stamp lobster image in Calypso Coral onto Whisper White and cut out then adhere to card with dimensionals
  • Thread a piece of linen thread through a Basic Metal button and adhere to card
There you have it! Thanks for stopping by! Now to go and see what Nancy has done! Have fun hopping!

Card Recipe: Stamps- By the Tide, Four You; Paper- Whisper White, Smoky Slate, Summer Starfruit, Soft Sky; Ink- Soft Sky, Pacific Point, Calypso Coral; Accessories- Circles framelits, Basic Metal button, linen thread, sponge, dimensionals

Color Throwdown 280

Good morning, Friends! The week seems to be flying by! And I am glad we are on the downhill side - lol! I have been busy stamping each day but I am trying to get ahead on some design commitments and I need to work on a swap and more cards for my blog. So I think that I will try to focus on that today. We will see… lol! Maybe I can do a little bit of it all? I must be ADD as I can't ever seem to concentrate on one thing at a time. I really do bounce around!! It will all get done and this is why I start on projects ahead of time. Otherwise it can be stressful!

Today's card was inspired by the colors from the Color Throwdown challenge a few weeks ago. I really liked them (and still do) and pulled out a set that I haven't used in a while. Love how it came together and how it is more masculine!

  • Card base is Soft Sky
  • Adhere a panel of Night of Navy to card base and then adhere a strip of Old Olive
  • On a panel of Very Vanilla, stamp the plant image from By the Tide in Old Olive
  • Stamp the lines and splatters from Gorgeous Grunge in Soft Sky then sponge the edges in Soft Sky
  • Stamp the sentiment from Sweet Essentials in Night of Navy and add two mini brads then adhere to card with dimensionals
  • Stamp the fish image onto a piece of Very Vanilla with Night of Navy ink and cut out
  • Adhere fish to card with dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

SFF 061413

Good morning, Friends! Thank goodness it's Friday! And here I am with another fabulous sketch from the Sketch Frenzy Friday team! This week's sketch was created by Sharon Wheet! Take a look!

I had a made a card earlier this week pretty similar to this so I decided to use the same idea but switch it up a bit and here is what evolved!

I'm having fun with that lobster! And I thought it would make a great Father's Day card! On a piece of Crumb Cake I stamped the coral image from By the Tide in Crumb Cake and then the whole piece got sponged with Crumb Cake. I put a piece of Washi tape down and then adhered the panel to a card base of Crumb Cake. I stamped the coral image again onto a piece of Very Vanilla in Crumb Cake and made it lighter by stamping it off the card stock first. This panel is also sponged with Crumb Cake and then popped up onto the card. I stamped the lobster in Calypso Coral and cut it out. It is popped up onto the card. Then I stamped the greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes in Basic Grey onto a strip of Very Vanilla and flagged one end. This is adhered to the lobster. I stamped the anchor image in Pool Party onto Very Vanilla and cut around the circle. I added a mini brad and popped it up onto the other side of the greeting.

Be sure to check out the Sketch Frenzy Friday blog to see what the other designers did with this sketch! I hope to see your creations uploaded to the site this week, too! We sure do love to see what you all do! Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!

TSSC 266 and LNS 224

Good morning, Friends! I hope your week is going great! It's just been plain HOT around here! And yesterday the wind blew. Yuck!! Hot wind is not fun and can make one grumpy. But I was lucky enough to be indoors with air conditioning and stitching all day long with some very wonderful ladies! Today is more of the same so I think that I will try to get the laundry done and maybe some stamping? I have a headache right now so I am trying to get that under control.

Today's card was another that we did at Stamp Club this month. I really love how this turned out! I used last week's sketch from Mary Jo's Lunchtime challenge and the LNS challenge to make a masculine card. I also challenged myself to use this lobster from By the Tide. This image did not "speak" to me when I got this set but I wanted to find a way to use it that wasn't so "in-your-face". I think I didn't like it so much because it was so big. But I am very happy with this! To start with I ran a strip of Smoky Slate through the Big Shot using the Chevron TIEF and then sponged the edges with Smoky Slate before adhering it to a card base of Smoky Slate. Then I used a stamp from the Gorgeous Grunge set (LOVE this set) and stamped the spots in Smoky Slate. This is then adhered to a piece of Calypso Coral that was punched on the side with the scallop edge border punch. I popped up this panel onto the card. Then I took a small strip of Soft Sky and flagged the bottom and adhered it to the card. I stamped the circle image from By the Tide in Smoky Slate onto Very Vanilla and fussy cut around it (I didn't want all the space around it that the punch leaves behind) and added a mini brad. This is popped up onto the card. I stamped the lobster image in Calypso Coral onto Very Vanilla and fussy cut around this (at my workshop a lot of the ladies just stamped this directly onto the Very Vanilla and it looked beautiful, too). This is popped up onto the card. Lots of cutting but I thought it turned out to be a very elegant masculine card! No greeting on this as it could be used for lots of occasions! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Card Recipe: Stamps- By the Tide, Gorgeous Grunge; Paper- Smoky Slate, Calypso Coral, Soft Sky, Very Vanilla; Ink- Smoky Slate, Calypso Coral; Accessories- Chevron TIEF, scallop edge border punch, mini brad, sponge, dimensionals

CCMC 253

Good morning, Friends! We are doing the happy dance around here as school is out for summer! Woohoo! I am also excited to bring you the newest Thursday challenge from the team at Create with Connie and Mary. This week we have a super great sketch challenge!

I LOVE this sketch! So many wonderful possibilities! You can keep it simple or dress it up. Of course I chose to keep it simple! Here's what I came up with.

I figure that men don't like a card that's too dressed up anyway. So this was perfect. I cut a piece of Epic Day designer paper and flagged the bottom. This is adhered to a piece of Basic Grey that was flagged at the bottom, too. Then I wrapped some linen thread around this three times and tied a knot. Then I popped up the panel onto a card base of Gumball Green. I stamped the fish image from By the tide in Basic Grey and sponged some Pool Party and Daffodil Delight onto it. I cut it out and popped it up onto the panel. I stamped the greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes in Basic Grey onto a strip of Very Vanilla and slashed the ends. This is adhered to the panel. Super super simple! I love it!!

The Create with Connie and Mary website has more inspiration! Be sure to visit and see how the designers interpreted the sketch. I do hope you will find time this week to play along! We are always inspired by what you create! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

SFF 051013

Good Friday morning, Friends! Woohoo! I am on my way to Ault to see my wonderful friend, Sherry! Becky and I will be driving up today and will be spending the weekend stitching, sewing, shopping, eating, laughing and who knows what else! I can hardly wait!

Want to see the newest sketch from the Sketch Frenzy Friday team? This week's sketch was created by Jennifer Wiede. Take a look!

So many possibilities! Love the clean look of this, too! Here's the direction I went!

I wanted to a little different. It is still a very simple card but I did a more of a collage look by layering my stamps. I am really going to miss this designer paper!! So much you can do with it! I took a piece of the First Edition specialty designer paper and stamped the coral image from By the Tide in Daffodil Delight and then the lobster right over that in Calypso Coral. It is a little hard to see, but I did stamp the fish image in Crumb Cake as well. Then I sponged the edges with Crumb Cake and adhered it to a piece of Basic Black. I added four brads and popped the panel up onto a card base of Crumb Cake. I stamped the circle image in black StazOn onto Very Vanilla and punched it out with the 1" circle punch. I added a mini brad and then adhered it to a strip of Very Vanilla that was stamped with the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes also in black StazOn. This is popped up onto the card. I did sponge all the elements and the card base with Crumb Cake ink.

Be sure to visit the Sketch Frenzy Friday blog for more inspiration from the talented design team! I do hope you all get a chance to play along with us this week! We would love to see what you do with this week's sketch! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

CCMC 251

Good morning, Friends! It's time for the Thursday challenge at Create with Connie and Mary! This week we are being challenged with a sketch. Take a look!

This is such a super great sketch! There are so many possibilities and here is where I went with it!

I thought this sketch would be perfect to showcase designer paper! I chose to use the Epic Day designer paper and make it a little more masculine. I started by adhering three strips of the Epic Day washi tape to a card base of Basic Grey. Then I adhered a piece of Epic Day designer paper to a piece of Gumball Green and then popped it up onto the card. Then I stamped the sentiment from Sweet Essentials in Basic Grey onto Very Vanilla and flagged one end. This is adhered to the card. I stamped the circle image from By the Tide in Basic Grey onto Very Vanilla and punched it out with the 1" circle punch. I added a mini brad and popped it up onto the card. Super simple!!

Be sure to visit the Create with Connie and Mary to see what the other talented designers did with this fun sketch! I hope you will play along with us this week! We sure do love to see your creations! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

CAS(E) This 26

Good morning, Friends! I hope your week is off to a great start! The soccer season ended this past weekend and now we will finish off it all off with a tournament at home next weekend. So we will have a free weekend! Woohoo! I get to spend it with a friend on the eastern slope! I am so excited! But there are things I need to get finished up before then! And stamping is one of them. I am feeling a real need to get some new product. I hope to have something new to show you all next week. We will see...

Today's card was inspired by the sketch at CAS(E) This.  I am loving the new Epic Day designer paper!! I just need more stamps images to go with it. But until then I am trying to make what I have work. I thought the fish from By the Tide would work well with the green and blue piece. And I did want to go for a more masculine look. So I took a piece of the Epic Day designer paper and adhered it to a card base of Sahara Sand. Then I stamped the greeting from Made for You (retiring at the end of this month - boo) in Basic Grey onto a piece of the Epic Day designer paper. I rounded the corner with the 3/4" circle punch and tied some linen thread around this piece. This is popped up onto the card. Then I stamped the fish from By the Tide onto Very Vanilla. I inked the fish up in Daffodil Delight and then took a sponge and daubed some Pool Party (hard to see) and some Gumball Green ink on it before stamping. I thought it turned out kinda cool! I cut the fish out and popped it up onto the card. Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Washi Shell

Good morning, Friends! I am so glad to be back with a card this morning! I apologize for the lack of posts but it has been crazy busy around here and I just have been inspired lately. So I took a break and I will probably take a few more breaks here and there as there are a few events that will be taking place around here that may take my attention away from stamping. The major one being a move. We are certain how soon that will happen but we are preparing now to hopefully be ready when it does happen. And then there are the various sports that my son participates in. That will be coming to an end in a few weeks. Not to mention all the other spring time stuff going on. Yesterday was the big final track meet! I sat in the sun for 6 hours!! I was so thankful for clouds that covered the sun but still managed to get quite a burn. Nick took 6th in high jump (he jumped his personal best), 3rd in long jump (which ended up being not his best), 1st in triple jump and 1st in 4 x 100 relay!! Not too bad for his first season of track! It was really fun to watch!! So now we are just back to soccer. Thanks to all of you who were worried about me :)

Today's card was an experiment. I have been really wanting to try out this new product from Stampin' Up! This product will be in the new catalog. It is Washi Tape. Washi Tape has been out for a while but it will now be available from Stampin' Up!, too! And it is really fun to use!! I am just having a hard time figuring out how to use it on cards. And which stamps it will look good with. So I went searching and this is what I came up with. You will also see me using it on the next few cards. I stamped the coral stamp from By the Tide in Crumb Cake onto a piece of Crumb Cake card stock. Then I sponged the edges with Crumb Cake. I cut an oval from a piece of Vellum using the Ovals Collection framelits dies and stamped the sentiment from Perfectly Penned in Basic Grey. I sponged the edges with Crumb Cake. I adhered it to the card using the Epic Day Washi Tape! There is a small piece at the top and three strips along the bottom. I tied some linen thread around this and added two silver brads. This panel is popped up onto a card base of Crumb Cake. Then I stamped the shell onto Crumb Cake using Calypso Coral ink. I cut this out and sponged a bit with Crumb Cake before popping it up onto the card. Thanks so much for stopping by and have a super day!

CAS(E) This 24

Good morning, Friends! Can you believe that we are under another freeze warning for tomorrow morning? UGH!! I really thought we were past this!! It looks like the sun should be shining by the time Nick has his track meet today. And boy I hope so!! Last week it was rainy and cold. Guess I had better plan for both types of weather! You never know!!

Today's card was inspired by the sketch at CAS(E) This! A super clean and simple one and I immediately thought of this stamp set. The script image from By the Tide was stamped in Crumb Cake onto a piece of Crumb Cake card stock. Then I sponged the edges of the card stock with the Crumb Cake ink. Then I pierced some holes along the bottom and wrapped some linen thread around the panel before popping it up onto a card base of Crumb Cake. The shell image is stamped in Calypso Coral onto Very Vanilla and cut out. This is popped up onto the card. The sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes is stamped in black StazOn onto a strip of Crumb Cake and the end is flagged. The other end is tucked under the shell. Super clean and simple! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

SFF 032913

Good morning, Friends! Wow! It's Friday already! This week really flew by! I can't believe spring break is over. But before Nick goes back to school, we are going to have one last bit of fun! We are headed to a Nuggets game!! Woohoo! Today The Sketch Frenzy Friday team reveals a new challenge! This week's sketch was created by Patrice Herrera. Take a look!

What a fun sketch! So many great elements to embellish! Here is what I came up with!

I really like how this came out! I cut a circle from Crumb Cake using the 3" circle die. I started by cutting a strip of Cajun Craze and adhering it to a piece of Not Quite Navy. Then I stamped the coral image from By the Tide in Crumb Cake and sponged the edges. I cut part of the circle off and then adhered it to the panel. I used the Modern Label punch to punch the shape three times and adhered just part of the shape to the edge of the card. I cut away the unwanted parts and punched holes to insert Very Vanilla brads. I stamped the sentiment from Made for You in black StazOn and then popped up the panel up onto a card base of Crumb Cake. Then I stamped the fish in Not Quite Navy onto Very Vanilla and cut it out. This is popped up onto the card.

Be sure to visit the Sketch Frenzy Friday team for more inspiration! I hope you will play along with us this week! We always love to see what you do with our challenges! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Today's card was inspired by Mary Jo's lunchtime sketch challenge. It was an easy sketch and that is just what I needed with the busy day I had yesterday! I was glad to be able to make it a masculine card, too! I adhered a piece of Print Poetry designer paper to a card base of Midnight Muse. Then I stamped the coral image from By the Tide in Crumb Cake onto a piece of Crumb Cake. I also stamped the sentiment from Made for You in Midnight Muse and then I sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink. I added three brads and popped this piece onto the card. Then I stamped the fish in Midnight muse and cut it out. This is popped up onto the card. Done! I told you it was easy!! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Mojo 283

Good Sunday morning! Did you remember to set your clocks ahead? We did and even went to bed an hour earlier. Doesn't seem to make a difference - lol! But it looks like the sun is going to be shining today! We had a nice rain and it sounds like the mountains had some snow so all is good! Nick will have a soccer game this morning and then I am off to spend the afternoon stitching! I did get my Crazy Quilt pillow done yesterday and I LOVE it!! I hope to have some pictures up on my other sewing blog later this week. It really turned out wonderful!!

Today's card was inspired by the sketch at Mojo Monday. It looks like I stamped my sentiment a little crooked - ugh! Oh well. I started by taking a piece of Crumb Cake and running it through the Big Shot with the Woodgrain embossing folder and then adhering it to a card base of Crumb Cake. Then I took a piece of of Print Poetry designer paper and adhered it to the card. I stamped the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes in Midnight Muse onto a piece of Summer Starfruit and added two brads. This is adhered to the card. Then I used the 2 1/2" circle punch to punch a circle from Crumb Cake. I stamped the coral image from By the Tide in Crumb Cake and sponged the edges. This is popped up onto the card. I stamped the fish in Midnight Muse onto Very Vanilla and cut it out and popped it up onto the card. Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

SFF 022213

Good Friday morning, Friends!! Sketch Frenzy Friday has a fantastic sketch for you all to try! This week's sketch was created by Sharon Wheet. Take a look!

Love the simplicity of this sketch! So I kept my card really simple, too. Take a look!

I punched a strip of Basic Black with the dotted ribbon scallop punch and adhered it to the bottom of a piece of designer paper from the Print Poetry collection. This is then adhered to a card base of Very Vanilla. I punched a circle from Crumb Cake using the 2 1/2" circle punch and stamped the word image from By the Tide in Crumb Cake (I stamped off once before stamping on the circle). The edges are sponged with Crumb Cake ink and the circle is popped up onto the card. Then I stamped the shell in Primrose Petals and carefully cut it out. This is popped up onto the card. The words are from Sweet Essentials and stamped in black StazOn onto a strip of Very Vanilla. I flagged one end and popped up the other end onto the circle. Then I added a vanilla button with some linen thread and adhered it to the card.

SC 423

Good morning, Friends! I hope that you are all having a fabulous week! We seem to have a little "bug" going around our family the last few days. Nick had it a couple of weeks ago ending with a need for more asthma medicine. Geez that stuff it expensive!! But he is doing so much better now. But now my husband seems to have some chest congestion and I am starting to feel a scratchy throat. Time to get serious and fight back - lol! Sure hope it's minor. Today I am excited to have the second class for hand piecing! Yup! I am making a small wall hanging quilt completely done by hand! It's the way my grandmother did it and I am so excited to learn it! I don't know if I will do a lot like this but it's good to learn and I want to keep trying it!

Today's card was inspired by the sketch at Splitcoast. This is actually last week's sketch but I did this card for a swap, too. I wanted something very masculine. I stamped the coral image from By the Tide in Summer Starfruit (stamping off once before stamping onto the card stock) onto Summer Starfruit and then sponged the edges in Summer Starfruit. Then I adhered a strip of Midnight Muse and wrapped some linen thread around this a few times. I stamped the greeting from Made for You in Soft Suede and then adhered the panel to a card base of Soft Suede. I stamped the coral image again in Soft Suede onto a piece of Very Vanilla and sponged the edges in Soft Suede. This is adhered to a piece of Soft Suede and then popped up onto the card. I stamped the fish in Midnight Muse onto Very Vanilla and cut it out. This is popped up onto the card as well. Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

FMS 73

Good morning, Friends! I was really upset that I didn't get this card posted yesterday as I had it done. I just didn't have it photographed. I don't like using my light tent anymore as the photos just don't come out as good as I think they should. I like to take my photos in the afternoon by the window and the natural light really makes everything come out better! But I forgot to take the photo on Sunday. Sunday was a very weird day. Anyway, I tried to take the photo yesterday as the sun was coming up in the morning but that wasn't any good either. It just has to be early afternoon. So no post yesterday. But that's they way it all goes!

Today's card was inspired by the sketch at Freshly Made. And because I didn't get my post up yesterday, I am too late to enter it in the challenge. Oh well. I hope you all will still enjoy it! I took a piece of Naturals Ivory and cut a 3" circle using the die. Then I sponged Baja Breeze ink around the edges and stamped the coral image from By the Tide in Not Quite Navy. This is adhered to a card base of Naturals Ivory. Then I flagged one end of a strip of Not Quite Navy and adhered this to the card. I stamped the greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes in Not Quite Navy onto a strip of Naturals Ivory and flagged one end before adhering it to the other strip. Then I stamped the shell in Baja Breeze onto a scrap of Naturals Ivory and cut it out. This is popped up onto the card. I added a silver button with some linen thread tied through it. Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

SC 422

Good morning, Friends! I hope you are all ready for a super weekend! It was so very nice to sleep in and wake up to a really sun shining day! I do hope it warms up a bit! I can really start to tell that spring is not too far off! Nick has some projects that I hope he finishes off this afternoon. Then there is basketball games to watch on t.v. and then later this evening, Nick has two Futsal games to play. Should be lots of fun!!

Today's card was another one we did at stamp club this month. I used the sketch on Splitcoast to help me with this one. I stamped the coral image from By the Tide on a piece of River Rock designer paper in Always Artichoke and then sponged the edges in River Rock. This is adhered to a piece of Not Quite Navy and then to a card base of Always Artichoke. Then I used the Ovals framelits to cut an oval from Always Artichoke and sponged the edges with Always Artichoke. This is popped up onto the card. I stamped the shell in River Rock onto Very Vanilla and cut it out. This is popped up onto the oval. The little anchor is stamped in Not Quite Navy onto Very Vanilla and punched out with the 1" circle punch. I added a mini brad to it and adhered to to the shell. The greeting is from Teeny Tiny Wishes and is stamped in Always Artichoke onto a strip of Very Vanilla with one end flagged. I tucked this behind the circle. Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!!
