Happy Halloween!! Here we are at the last day of October! I can't believe how fast the time has gone! Since we live in a rural area, I don't think we will be seeing any trick-or-treaters. My husband bought a bag of mini candy bars "just in case". Yeah, right! Lol!! He just wants to eat them himself! I might sneak one in, too. Nick has an early soccer practice for those that want to go trick-or-treating, but I think we will come home and enjoy the football game. And tomorrow we sleep in because there is no school! Yea!!
Today's card was inspired by a few that I saw while blurfing. I used the Batty for You set one last time. I really liked the way this one turned out! Thanks for stopping by and have a fun and safe Halloween!

A La Card Monkey Challenge Guest Designer
Good morning, Friends! I hope your weekend is off to a fantastic start! It is definitely much colder around here! I think it should be a little warmer today, though. Nick has a soccer game later today and I do hope it warms up for that!!
I am excited to announce that I have been asked to be a guest designer at A La Card Monkey weekly challenge blog! Here is the super fun sketch they have for us!
So many fun ideas to use with these shapes! I used an idea that I got from my friend, Becky and combined it with this sketch. Take a look!
A cute and fun Halloween card! My card base is Basic Black with another piece of Basic Black that was cut down to which I glued my squares to. Then I punched squares using the 1 1/4" square punch - three of Rich Razzleberry, three of Pear Pizzazz, and three of Peach Parfait. Then I used the 1" circle punch to punch circles - two of Rich Razzleberry, two of Pear Pizzazz and two of Peach Parfait. Then I stamped the three images from the Batty For You set in black StazOn on Whisper White and punched out just the images using the 1" circle punch. The image circles are popped up onto the squares while the rest of the circles are glued flat. The squares are glued flat to the Basic Black piece and then to the card. I took a strip of Whisper White and stamped the greeting from Grateful Greetings and flagged the ends. This is popped upon to the card and then I added two rhinestones at each end.
I hope you will take a look at the rest of the creative ideas at A La Card Monkey to get more inspiration! Then make your own project and upload it to their site. I look forward to seeing what you will do with this great sketch! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

TSSC 196
Good morning, Friends! I hope you are having a super start to the weekend! Nick enjoyed his day off from school. It seemed so unnatural to have him home and Pat was out working. I kind of forgot what day it was! I wanted to sleep in this morning but couldn't. A migraine is upon me and I am trying to nip it before the soccer game a little later today. Ugh! And I wanted to stamp some, too! Yesterday I was on a roll but had to stop to go to the grocery store. Maybe today I will try to keep the mojo going. But there is college football on... We will see!!
Today's card is one that I did for Mary Jo's Lunchtime Sketch Challenge. Becky had loaned me this set, Batty For You, and I wanted to try to use it before giving it back. I think Mary Jo's sketch called out for me to use this set! Mary Jo's sketch has an extra layer than mine but I just could make another layer work. And I don't have any designer paper for Halloween. I know - shame on me! This card also works for the LNS 1-2-3 challenge. That is such a super fun challenge! Even if you aren't a part of LNS you should try this challenge out (1 stamp set, 2 embellishments, 3 colors). Thanks for stopping by and taking a look! Have a super day!
Card Recipe: Stamps- Batty For You; Paper- Lucky Limeade, Rich Razzleberry, Basic Black, Whisper White; Ink- Lucky Limeade, Basic Black; Accessories- Basic Black taffeta ribbon, Spider Web embossing folder, scallop edge border punch, glimmer brad, 1 3/8" circle punch, scallop circle punch, dimensionals
