Good Sunday morning everyone! I must have really over done it yesterday. My day ended with a lot of pain in my head. So I called it a day early and went to bed. This morning I don't feel great either. My husband thought that this might come and go. Gee, I was just hoping it would go!! Lol! So today I had better just take it easy and watch some football with a few naps in between. That doesn't sound like a bad day!
Today's card was inspired by the sketch at iSpy. Such an easy sketch! I love it! I stamped the greeting in Cherry Cobbler onto a piece of Very Vanilla and rounded the top corner with my 1 1/4" circle punch. Then I adhered this to a piece of Cherry Cobbler and popped up the panel onto a card base of Gumball Green. Then I stamped the tree from Scentsational Season in Gumball Green onto a piece of Very Vanilla and cut it out using the Holiday Collection framelits dies. This is popped up onto the card. Then I used the Holiday Collection framelits dies to cut the star from the bronze glimmer paper and that is adhered to the card. Very simple!! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Today's card was inspired by last week's sketch at iSpy. I layered a piece of designer paper from the Orchard Harvest pack onto a card base of Crumb Cake. Then I cut three strips from Early Espresso and adhered them to the card. The a strip of Crumb Cake was adhered with the greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamped in Early Espresso. Then I took a piece of Very Vanilla and embossed it with the oval Designer Frame embossing folder and cut it out. This is popped up onto the card. I stamped the ear of corn from Perfectly Preserved onto Very Vanilla using Lucky Limeade, More Mustard and Cajun Craze markers. This was cut out using the Cannery framelits dies. Good morning, Friends! I hope your week is off to a great start! We are just settling into our weekly routine around here! I got four loads of laundry done yesterday and need to get two more done today. No problem - right? Lol!! Rain is forecasted for today and tomorrow and I really hope it does! We need it SO badly!! And rain would be a nice diversion from the hot and dry that it has been ALL summer long! The colors are turning up in the mountains. My friend Becky went up there last week and took some awesome pictures! Down in the valley, I noticed a few trees were starting to turn color as well. Fall is definitely coming!! Yea!!!
Today's card was inspired by the sketch at iSpy. This is not my usual style and it seems kind of busy to me. But I love these papers from the Orchard Harvest designer paper pack. The colors and patterns remind me of fall! So I followed the sketch to be able to use these papers. I layered squares of the Orchard Harvest designer papers onto a piece of Crumb Cake and then popped up this panel onto a card base of Crumb Cake. Then I stamped the apple from Perfectly Preserved in Raspberry Ripple and the stem in Lucky Limeade onto Very Vanilla. These were cut out using the Cannery framelits. I popped this up onto a 1 1/4" circle of Crumb Cake that was adhered to a 1 3/8" circle of Raspberry Ripple and then adhered to a scallop circle of Early Espresso. This was then popped up onto the card. Then I stamped the sentiment in Raspberry Ripple onto a scrap of Crumb Cake and punched it with the small oval punch and adhered a strip of Early Espresso. I popped this up onto the card. Then I strung some linen thread through an Early Espresso button and tied a bow before adhering it to the card. Finally I added a rhinestone to the apple. Good morning everyone! And Happy August!! Wow! This summer is really flying by! I have set a goal to finish my first "Fun and Done" quilt by the end of this month. And it is very do-able! I just need to keep on pace. I have all the squares done. They just need to be put together in rows and then attached to the quilt. I have half of them done already. But tomorrow we leave for Park City because Nick's soccer team is playing in a big tournament there. It will be fun to get out of town again! Being the first day of August means that everyone can order from the new Holiday mini catalog!! Yea!!! And the new version of MDS is available! lots of great stuff is going on!!
Today's card was inspired by the sketch at iSpy. A super simple one!! I do love what the designers came up with, too! I kept mine very simple and clean. I apologize for the picture not coming out great. I adhered a strip of Midnight Muse to a card base of Whisper White. Then I stamped the stem from Fabulous Florets in Gumball Green onto a panel of Whisper White and tied a piece of Gumball Green around it. This is popped up onto the card so that just a hint of the Midnight muse is showing. On the other side of the panel I stamped the quote in Midnight Muse. Good morning, Friends! Ready for a great weekend? We are getting ready to leave for the eastern slope once again. This time Nick plays just one game. But afterwards, Nick and Pat get to go to a Rockies game! Woohoo for them and boohoo for me! Just a guys night out. I will drop them off and then head to our hotel. So I get a quiet evening in the hotel and will hopefully get to watch it on t.v.! This is the last league game for the soccer season. I sure do hope they play their best!
Today's card was inspired by the sketch at iSpy. An easy sketch for a quick and simple card. I started with a card base of Whisper White and adhered three strips of Bashful Blue card stock that were run through the Big Shot with the Stripes embossing folder. I stamped the twirly words from Flight of the Butterfly in Pacific Point onto Whisper White. This is adhered to a piece of Pacific Point and then popped up onto the card. I stamped the solid part of the butterfly in Bashful Blue onto a scrap of Whisper White and then the flower part was stamped on top in Pacific point. I cut the butterfly out and used my white gel pen to color the flower centers before popping it up onto the card. The last bit was to add a flower that was punched from Pacific Point with the itty bitty shapes punch pack and a rhinestone. Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Good morning, Friends! Another week to start! I can't believe this is the last of April! Wow!! The time has really flown by! I think it really seems that way because we are always so busy on the weekends and when we come home it's time to start another week. One more traveling weekend and then we have some at home. Ahhh! Nothing exciting happening today. Just some laundry and maybe a hunt for a new sewing machine. Since I am knee deep in fabric, I need to find a new one so I can keep sewing together my quilt! We'll see.
Today's card is one that I did for a recent swap I was in. I used the sketch at iSpy Sketches for this one. It's an older one but I really liked the simplicity of it and these are some of my favorite colors! The images are from Kindness Matters. I stamped the sentiment in Calypso Coral onto a piece of Whisper White and adhered that to a piece of Calypso Coral and then popped up the panel onto a card base of Whisper White. I stamped the butterflies using my Baja Breeze, Calypso Coral and Daffodil Delight markers onto a piece of Whisper White and adhered it to a piece of Baja Breeze. I added three mini brads to the butterflies and a bit of Calypso Coral ribbon. This was adhered to a strip of Daffodil Delight with both ends flagged and then popped up onto the card. Today's card was inspired by an older iSpy sketch. I love the banners peeking out from the main panel. I kept my card very simple. I took three strips of Newsprint designer paper, flagged the ends, and then sponged them with Crumb Cake before adhering them to a Crumb Cake card base. Then I stamped the image from My Friend in black StazOn on Very Vanilla and sponged the edges with Crumb Cake before adhering it to a piece of Basic Black. This panel is popped up onto the card. Then I stamped the sentiment in black StazOn onto a strip of Very Vanilla. I flagged the end and glued it to the main panel. Good morning everyone! I hope you are having a great start to the week! I had a great workshop last night with some fabulous ladies! We laughed a lot and created some fun cards! It looks like I need to get some laundry done today.
Today's card was inspired by a sketch from iSpy Sketches. I loved the circle elements and thought it would be perfect to show off the new Summer Smooches line. This is a special that Stampin' Up! is running for this month and most of the new products will be in the new catalog!! I took a piece of Whisper White that was cut down and adhered a piece of the Summer Smooches designer paper to the top part. To the bottom I stamped the greeting from Curvy Verses in Rich Razzleberry. I added a strip of Daffodil Delight card stock and then popped the entire panel up onto a card base of Whisper White. Then I stamped the leaves and flowers from Bright Blossoms onto a scrap piece of Whisper White in Lucky Limeade and Rich Razzleberry and punched them out with the 1 1/4" circle punch. These are adhered to circle that were punched from Rich Razzleberry with the 1 3/8" circle punch. I popped these up onto the card and added a little rhinestone to each. Good morning everyone! Are you glad it's the weekend? We have the usual soccer game today and then baseball practice tomorrow but otherwise we are looking forward to possibly spending lots of time outside in this wonderful weather! Tomorrow it is supposed to get windy and then maybe get some rain? I hope we do get some rain. Just wait until after all the sports activities - lol! I did get quite a bit of stamping done this past week. That felt good!
Today's card was inspired by a sketch at iSpy Sketches. This is quite a different look for me but I had fun with it! And it gave me a chance to use up some of that beautiful Sale-A-Bration products before they are discontinued! My card base is Very Vanilla. Then I took a piece of Everyday Enchantment designer paper and cut it at a diagonal. I mounted these onto pieces of Soft Suede that were cut the same way. These are adhered to the card base. Then I took a smaller piece of Very Vanilla and mounted it to a piece of Soft Suede. For my focal point I stamped a piece of Very Vanilla with the Fresh Vintage stamp set using Peach Parfait, Lucky Limeade and Pool Party markers. Then I took it to the Big Shot and cut it out using my Labels framelits dies. I took the cut shape and sent it back through the Big Shot using the Designer Frames embossing folder (a fun technique I saw someone else use). This is popped up onto the Very Vanilla panel. Then I stamped the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes in Soft Suede onto a Very Vanilla strip and flagged one end. The other end is adhered behind the stamped image. I added two little strips of ribbon behind the Soft Suede Panel and popped this up onto the card. Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!
