Good morning everyone! It's Preview Week at Create with Connie and Mary and I'm SO excited to share my Preview Week project with you all! And I am also offering blog candy! More on that later in my post...
For my preview project I am featuring 4 cards and a gift bag to hold them in. I decided to put my cards and envelopes in this bag so that I could give them to a friend who loves to give handmade Christmas cards but doesn't have the time to make them. The bag is super simple as it uses the new Polka Dot Tag a Bag Gift Bags! And it is held closed by using the cute little clothespin from the Trim the Tree Tag a Bag accessory kit found in the Holiday mini catalog! All my cards use the same colors and designer paper pack so that your supplies are limited. And the cards are easy to create because Stampin' Up! has made these stamps as photopolymer sets which are super easy to line up and create gorgeous images! I created all Christmas cards here but by changing the colors you can create wreaths for any season! Don't forget that this set comes as a bundle and you can get the matching framelits to make cutting them out a breeze! The framelits also come with two die cut words to help make your projects even more elegant! Love this set! Can you tell - lol! Anyway, to see each card individually and to download the FREE tutorial, head on over to the Create with Connie and Mary site! While you're there don't forget to sign up for the Holiday Edition 2014! Early bird pricing is going on right now! We have so many awesome designers I know you will love it! I hope to see you there!
Now for the blog candy! Here's what you need to do to win a FREE subscription to the Create with Connie and Mary Holiday Edition 2014: Leave me a comment TODAY. That's it! That's all you have to do! I'm really excited to hear from you! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Thankful Wreath
Good morning everyone! Boy! It feels like a Monday but I am sure glad it's Friday! We have been running behind and I even got up early! Yikes!! Nick's soccer game went really well! They won 6-2! And while Nick was in goal, he didn't get scored on!! He got to play a lot and that was exciting, too! He has another game tomorrow morning and I am thankful it is here at home! I have SO much stamping to catch up on! I am hoping to work really hard tomorrow! Come on mojo!!
Today's card was one I did for my shoebox group that met last night. Remember how I had said that Wednesday was going to be my day of getting a lot of stamping done since I get out of school early? Well this was the only card I could muster up! UGH! I really hope Saturday is a better day! Anyway, I liked the way this turned out!

Thankful Feathers
Good morning, everyone! It's Friday! Woohoo! I'm glad even though it's going to be a busy weekend! Nick has his first mountain bike race! I'm really excited to see how this all works! And he's excited, too!! It will make for a late night getting home on Sunday but that's the way it goes. My work is getting much busier! I have a full day of kids! I need to get myself a more organized as I go from class to class. Maybe I'll find some time today??
Today's card was inspired by one I had saved in my files. I am loving these feathers! I think this set would make excellent masculine cards! I'm not sure if a guy would like the button and bow but that could be changed up!

Angled Sunflower
Good morning, Friends! It's Friday! Pat's brother and his family are in the area and we will be spending time with them this weekend as we don't get to see them but once a year. His sister will also be there so it will be good to see the family. Nick also has another doctor's appointment today. We also need to go school supply shopping one of these days. But I think I can do that next week.
Today's card was inspired by another sunflower card I saw. I didn't have the exact same supplies but I thought I could do with what I have and I so super like this one! I just love sunflowers anyway so this was right up my alley!! And the Dotty Angles stamp set really helped bring some texture to it!

Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop: Lovely As A Tree
Hello everyone! It's time for The Stamp Review Crew to host another fantastic blog hop featuring a stamp set from the Stampin' Up! catalog! This time we are featuring the well loved stamp set, Lovely As A Tree! If you started at the beginning, then you arrived here from Debra Burgin's blog. If you are starting here that's o.k., too, as you can still see all the fabulous projects by clicking the link at the bottom of this post and going through the hop!
So I think that that this stamp set has been around since the beginning of time - lol! I feel like I have had this stamp set forever! I don't know about you but I tend to focus on all the new stuff coming out that I forget about my older stamps so this blog hop was a great motivation for me to get it out and work with it. Here's my card:
I used the sketch at Freshly Made to help me put this together. Love the earthy masculine feel of this! Here are the details:
- Card base is Crumb Cake
- Run a piece of Chocolate Chip card stock through the Big Shot using the Woodgrain embossing folder and adhere to card base with dimensionals
- Stamp the greeting from Really Good Greetings onto a strip of Garden Green using Chocolate Chip ink and flag the end then adhere to card
- Flag the end of another strip of Garden Green card stock and adhere to card
- Loop some linen thread and adhere to card
- Stamp the tree from Lovely as a Tree onto a piece of Watercolor paper using black StazOn and cut out using the Circles framelits
- Use Garden Green and Chocolate Chip inks and an aqua painter to watercolor the image then let dry
- Adhere stamped circle to card with dimensionals
Pretty simple! Don't forget to click the link below to go to Shana Gaff's blog to see more wonderful inspiration! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Blooming Celebrate
Good morning everyone! I was sure hoping we would have gotten some rain last night. It got really dark around here and then the storm just went to the south. Ugh! Nick has soccer camp again today and I get a haircut! Yes! Finally! I didn't have much motivation to stamp yesterday so I hope I will find some when I get back from all my errands.
Today's card started out from a sketch but then evolved into this. I really enjoy coloring with the blendabilities and this flower! So fun! And the sentiment is from a new hostess set called Really Good Greetings. This hostess set will be in the upcoming Holiday mini catalog.
