Good morning, Friends! I guess it rained yesterday. It seemed like it rained all over the valley except right here in Fruita. Ugh! It is supposed to rain again today and I hope Fruita gets the majority of it this time! We need it badly! We will be heading to the ranch today to see the family. So I hope it's cooler up there. I do love sitting out on the porch with the breeze blowing a bit and just watching the beautiful scenery! Wondering if I should take something to work on...

Today's card was inspired by the sketch at Freshly Made. Such a simple sketch. I love it! I will be using this one more often! So many possibilities! I thought that my card turned out to be more on the masculine side.

• Card base is Sahara Sand
• Stamp the splatter stamp from Gorgeous Grunge using Sahara Sand onto he card base
• Adhere a strip of Moonlight designer paper to the card
• Adhere a strip of Island Indigo to the card
• Stamp the starburst image from Starburst Sayings onto a piece of Whisper White using Tangelo Twist ink and use the Starburst framelits to cut it out
• Adhere stamped image to card with dimensionals
• Stamp the starburst image again onto a piece of Pool Party using Island Indigo ink and cut out just the "world" part and adhere to starburst image with dimensionals
• Add three Sahara Sand candy dots

Hello everyone! It is time for another great challenge from the Create with Connie and Mary team! This week we have a super fun sketch challenge! Check it out!

Such a clean and easy sketch and that's what I did with my card! Check it out!

• Card base is Pacific Point
• Run a piece of Pacific Point through the Big Shot using the Arrows embossing folder then adhere to card base
• Stamp the image from Starburst Sayings onto Whisper White using Pacific Point ink and cut out using the Starburst framelits
• Flag the end of two strips of silver foil paper and adhere to the back of the starburst then adhere to card with dimensionals
• Add rhinestones to card

Dynamic Mojo

Hello everyone! I hope your weekend is off to a great start! I am visiting a friend for the weekend! We are having a blast so far! Even got to Skype with friends back home! Too fun!! Looking forward to some shopping and more sewing! Woohoo! We are babysitting a little girl for a few hours this morning. And what a CUTIE!! 

Today's card was inspired by a couple of challenges. I got the colors from last week's Dynamic Duos' color challenge and the sketch from Mojo Monday. I thought it turned out pretty regal!

• Card base is Whisper White
• Adhere a piece of gold designer vellum to card base
• Punch a strip of Rich Razzleberry with the scallop edge border punch and adhere to a strip of gold foil card stock then adhere to card
• Adhere a thin strip of Basic Black to gold strip
• Adhere a Rich Razzleberry square to a Basic Black square and then adhere to card with dimensionals
• Stamp the greeting from Starburst Sayings in Rich Razzleberry and cut out with the Starburst framelits then adhere to card with dimensionals
• Tie a piece of gold twine through a vintage faceted button and adhere to card

Pacific Starburst

Good morning, Friends! It is really dark and dreary looking outside today. I think that is one reason I slept so late this morning! I thought that the sun hadn't come up yet - lol! I guess it is supposed to be VERY windy today and maybe rain. Ugh! I just hate it when it is windy like that! My allergies go nuts! I guess I will be staying in all day to try to avoid another allergy mishap. It might be quite as bad if it would rain. At least my car is in my garage and can't get as dusty as it used to being outside!! Love that! Being inside won't be that bad today. Basketball games, sewing and probably some stamping, too! Sounds pretty good!!

For today's card I used the new Starburst Sayings stamp set and coordinating framelits. I debated getting this set and finally caved. I love the sayings and definitely the framelits! And I used this week's Create with Connie and Mary color challenge! Wait… I think I used Daffodil Delight instead of Summer Starfruit. But a Summer Starfruit flower would look just as great!

• Card base is Whisper White
• A layer of Whisper White was run through the Big Shot with the Arrows embossing folder and then adhered to the card base with dimensionals
• Stamp the image from Starburst Sayings in Pacific Point onto Whisper White and cut out with the coordinating Starburst framelits
• Adhere a piece of Smoky Slate 3/4" Chevron Ribbon to the back of the stamped image with glue dots then adhere to card with dimensionals
• Punch a flower from Daffodil Delight using the itty bitty shapes punch pack and adhere to card
• Adhere a Pacific Point candy dot to flower center
