Stylish Santa

Hello, Friends! I hope you are all ready for Christmas! All my family should be here tomorrow. Since my brother has to go back to work on Christmas day, we will be having our big dinner and opening presents tomorrow! Today I will enjoy staying inside as it is supposed to be pretty cold!

Today's card was inspired by one in the Holiday mini catalog. I loved how it used the chevron punch! Here are the details:

• Card base is Cherry Cobbler
• Layer of Cherry Cobbler that was run through the Big Shot using the Stylish Stripes embossing folder
• On a layer of Whisper White, stamp the Santa image from Santa's List in Cherry Cobbler then adhere to Cherry Cobbler layer
• Adhere a strip of Season of Style designer paper to panel
• Tie a piece of Cherry Cobbler baker's twine around panel and adhere to card base with dimensionals
• Stamp greeting in Old Olive onto a strip of Old Olive and cut the end to form a point then adhere to card with dimensionals
• Use the Chevron punch to punch two chevrons from Old Olive and adhere to card
• Add rhinestones to each chevron

Washi Santa

Hello everyone! I wanted to be sure to pop in and say hi! We are in Kansas now. I wanted to blog this morning but we had to get on the road as weather was going to be setting in. And sure enough, it did! We had barely turned south on 35 and the freezing rain started. Now it is snowing hard! It's beautiful but I am sure glad that we are not driving in it anymore! We are safe and sound all warm and watching basketball on tv!! Life is good!

I had made Christmas cards to get me through the Christmas season and wanted to be sure to share them with you. This card was inspired by one in the Holiday mini catalog. Here are the details:

• Card base is Cherry Cobbler
• Layer of Cherry Cobbler that was run through the Big Shot with the Pretty Print embossing folder and then adhered to the card base with dimensionals
• Stamp the Santa image from Santa's List onto Crumb Cake with Chocolate Chip
• Sponge edges with Whisper White ink then adhere to card
• Stamp greeting with Cherry Cobbler onto a strip of Whisper White and adhere to card
• Adhere two strips of Season of Style washi tape
• Use the bitty banner punch (available during SAB) and punch a banner from Old Olive and adhere to card
• Add a large rhinestone

Good morning, Friends! It's Thursday and time for another great challenge from the Create with Connie and Mary team! This week we have a sketch!

And my card...

I kept this one very simple! This card would make a great last minute Christmas card for anyone needing to get started (maybe me?). A few supplies and easy stamping! Here are the details:

• Card base is Crumb Cake
• Layer of Cherry Cobbler that is run through the Big Shot using the Stylish Stripes embossing folder
• Adhere a strip of Season of Style washi tape and then adhere panel to card base
• Cut a circle from Crumb Cake using the 3" circle die
• Stamp the Santa image from Santa's List in Cherry Cobbler onto the circle then sponge edges with Whisper White ink and adhere to card with dimensionals
• Stamp greeting in Cherry Cobbler onto a strip of Whisper White and flag the end then adhere to card
• Add three rhinestones

Good Friday morning! Boy am I ready for the weekend! Sketch Frenzy Friday has a new sketch for you all this week and it was created by Patrice Herrera! Take a look!

And my card...

I kept it very simple! And I believe it could be very mailable as well! Here are the details:

• Card base is Crumb Cake
• Layer of Crumb Cake that was stamped with the Santa image from Santa's List in Cherry Cobbler and then sponged with Whisper White craft ink
• Adhere layer to card with dimensionals
• Punch an oval from Cherry Cobbler using the large oval punch and adhere to card
• Stamp sentiment from Santa's List in Cherry Cobbler onto a strip of Crumb Cake and flag both ends
• Adhere to card using dimensionals
• Add two rhinestones to card

Good morning everyone! I hope your weekend is off to a great start! My son and I will be leaving later this morning for Denver. Nick has his third tryout for the state soccer team tomorrow so we are headed up today to do some shopping and hang out!

Card details:

• Card base is Cherry Cobbler cut at 4 1/4" x 11" and folded in half
• Layer of Cherry Cobbler cut at 4" x 5 1/4" and run through the Big Shot using the Stylish Stripes embossing folder
• Layer of silver glimmer paper cut at 5" x 2" and flagged at the bottom then adhered to embossed layer
• Layer of Season of Style designer paper cut at 2 1/4" x 4 1/4" and flagged at the bottom then adhered to layer
• Tie a piece of Gumball Green stitched satin ribbon around layer and pop up onto card base
• Stamp Santa image from Santa's List in Cherry Cobbler onto a piece of Whisper White cut at 3" x 2 3/4" then adhere to a piece of Gumball Green cut at 3 1/8" x 2 7/8"
• Pop panel up onto card

Good morning, Friends! It's Thursday and the kiddos are out of school today and tomorrow! Woohoo! It's also time for another challenge from the Create with Connie and Mary team! This week we are being challenged with some fabulous colors. Take a look!

Raspberry Ripple, Soft Sky and Very Vanilla. So soft and beautiful! Here's what I came up with!

I chose to make a Christmas card to go along with the Create with Connie and Mary Winter Collection that is going on right now! Have you subscribed? Here are my card details:

• Card base is Very Vanilla
• A strip of Raspberry Ripple was run through the Big Shot with the Stylish Stripes embossing folder then adhered to the card base on the left hand side
• A panel of Soft Sky is cut and flagged at the bottom then adhered to a panel of Very Vanilla
• Pop panel up onto card base
• Stamp Santa from Santa's List in Raspberry Ripple onto a piece of Very Vanilla and pop up onto card
• Stamp greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes in Raspberry Ripple onto Soft Sky panel
• Add several rhinestones

Super simple and another very mailable card!

Cherry Santa

Good morning, Friends! I hope your week is off to a great start! I was able to get a portion of my stamp/craft room unpacked so that I could get ready for my workshop last night. I even moved my file cabinet of card stock ALL BY MYSELF!! Woohoo!! It wasn't easy but very necessary and I was determined. Thank goodness that there are no stairs in our new home. So today I have to find a home for our cat. There are two prospects and I am just waiting to hear. Then I will take him to his new home. Then later this afternoon, Nick has his first basketball game! He is SO excited! So am I! I was hoping to get more of my craft room put together but we will see how much of that I can get done.

Today's card was one that I did at my stamp club last night. A super easy card! And very mailable! I just love the look of this Santa! 

Here are the details:

• Card base is Old Olive cut at 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and folded in half
• Layer of Crumb Cake cut at 5 3/8" x 1 1/2" then run through the Big Shot using the Pretty Print embossing folder
• Sponge edges of Crumb Cake piece with Crumb Cake ink and tie a piece of Crumb Cake taffeta ribbon around it then adhere to card
• Layer of Cherry Cobbler cut at 3" square
• Stamp Santa image from Santa's List in Cherry Cobbler and sponge edges with Cherry Cobbler
• Adhere panel to card with dimensionals
