Good morning, Friends! I can't believe that the week is going by this quickly! I hope yours is going great! Nothing special going on around here at the moment so I will expect to get some crafting done today (even though I should probably clean my house - lol).

Today's card was inspired by a sketch at Stamping 411. I loved the simple design and that the squares could be any shape you wanted. I left them square but I had some other ideas, too. May have to try those some time. I do apologize for my photo. I thought when I had edited it, I had lightened it up but I guess I didn't. The two colors I used were Whisper White and Concord Crush. I punched squared of Concord Crush using the 1 3/8" square punch and then using the postage stamp punch I punched squares from Whisper White. I layered these together and adhered them to my card base of Whisper White. Then I stamped three butterflies from Flight of the Butterfly stamp set in Concord Crush and punched them out with the 3/4" circle punch. I added a mini brad to each one and then popped them up onto the squares. Then I stamped the sentiment in Concord Crush onto a strip of Whisper White and flagged one end. This is attached to the final square. Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Good morning, Friends! Boy did we have a windy day around here yesterday! No wonder Nick didn't feel good. His allergies were at an all time high! Now today I am feeling my sinuses acting up, too. Ugh! The dust was blowing so thick all day long! I really hate the wind like that! But now it should be calm and nice. If we could get some rain that would help settle it all...

Today's card was inspired by the sketch challenge at Stamping 411. I like these kinds of sketches where you can show off some of our beautiful designer papers! But which one to show off - lol! I decided on the Mocha Morning specialty papers. I haven't used them in a while and this one is flocked. It is so pretty that I don't want to cover it up so this design is perfect! My card base is Crumb Cake. Then I cut another piece of Crumb Cake down a bit and added a layer of Basic Black and then the beautiful designer paper from Mocha Morning. I tied a piece of Basic Black satin ribbon around this panel. Then I stamped the sentiment from Sincere Salutations and added three rhinestones before popping the panel up onto the card base. A very simple card! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Good morning everyone! And happy Leap Year! Boy did this month just fly by! And the week is going by quickly, too! It has been good so far!

Today's card was inspired by the sketch at Stamping 411. Specifically, I was inspired by Tammy Fite's card. I loved the way she incorporated the Doily die with the sketch. And I haven't used my Doily die all that much so I set out to see what I could do! I wanted to keep it really simple and so I ended up with a black and white card. I started with a piece of Whisper White card stock and wrapped a piece of Basic Black satin ribbon around it. I stamped the greeting from Just Believe in the lower right hand corner in black StazOn. Then I adhered it to a card base of Whisper White. Then I took another piece of Whisper White and ran it through the Big Shot with the Doily die. I popped this up onto the card. I used the 2 3/8" scallop circle punch and punched Basic Black card stock and the circles #2 die to cut a Whisper White circle. I stamped the stem from Just Believe in black StazOn onto the circle (twice). The circle is adhered to the scallop and the scallop is popped up onto the doily. I added two rhinestones under the greeting and called it done! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Good morning everyone! It must be Monday! I can't believe that we are going to be finishing the month off this week! Wow! I am noticing that the sun is coming up earlier and setting later! I am liking that! We really didn't have much of a winter around here so bring on the spring!!

Today's card was inspired by a sketch at Stamping 411. It was last week's sketch so I am a little behind on it. Oh well. It's still fun to play along even if you can't post it to the challenge. I did something a little different on this. I used my Labels framelits die and cut the shape out of Pool Party and then sponged the edges with Pool Party ink. I wrapped a piece of Very Vanilla seam binding ribbon around that and stamped the greeting from Tea Shoppe in Soft Suede. On another piece of Pool Party I adhered a small piece of designer paper from the Attic Boutique designer paper pack and used the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder to emboss just the bottom part of the card stock. I glued this to a card base of Pool Party. I also used the Big Shot and the Tasteful Trim die to cut a scallop strip from a piece of Daffodil Delight card stock. This piece is popped up on the card. Then I stamped the tea cup in Soft Suede onto Very Vanilla and cut it out. I popped this up on the card and added a Daffodil Delight flower that was punched with the itty bitty punch pack and a pearl. Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Good morning everyone! Happy Christmas Eve! I am thoroughly enjoying my stay at my mom's!! Already I am eating too much! So this morning I decided that I was going to do a little workout on the treadmill. Now I can eat some more - lol!! Anyway, we are here and the weather is looking great (a little chilly, though)! Not sure what the plan is for today but that is o.k.! I am pretty sure we will be watching some football!

Today's card is one that I did for my stamp club this month. I used an older sketch from Karen Giron. I love the way this one turned out! These snowmen are just so stinkin' cute! And you don't have to use them for just Christmas. This card could be used any time of the year! I started with a card base of Cherry Cobbler. Then I cut down another piece of Cherry Cobbler and adhered a piece of Frostwood Lodge designer paper. Then I took a piece of Marina Mist and ran it through the Big Shot using the Snow Burst embossing folder and glued onto the designer paper. Then I tied a piece of the beautiful Cherry Cobbler quilted satin ribbon around this and attached this panel to the card base. I took a piece of Whisper White card stock and stamped the snowman in black StazOn. I also stamped him again on another piece of Whisper White, colored him and cut him out. He got popped up onto the "flat" snowman and then the panel was glued to a piece of Cherry Cobbler. I popped this panel up over the ribbon. Then I stamped the greeting in black StazOn and flagged one end. This was glued to the snowman panel. Thanks for stopping by! have a fantastic day!!

Good morning, Friends! Brrrr!!!! Baby it's cold outside! And in the house!! I think the temperature got down close to zero last night. So the fire feels really good right now! Thankfully, I put the flannel sheets on yesterday, too, so I slept really good! But I wanted to stay under the blankets a lot longer than I could. I was able to get a lot of stamping done yesterday and I am hoping to do the same today. I do need to start thinking about getting some Christmas presents done, too. The time is just flying by!!

Today's card was inspired by an older sketch at Stamping 411. It kind of looks like another one that I did a while ago but I did use different colors on this one. I rather like the way it turned out, too! My card base is Crumb Cake. The squares start with Early Espresso and then a piece from the Frostwood Lodge designer paper that was cut with the Scallop Squares duo die and then a piece of Whisper White. On the Whisper White piece I stamped the greeting from Bells and Boughs in Early Espresso. Then I wrapped a piece of Cherry Cobbler baker's twine around the squares and tied on some mini jingle bells. I love those little jingle bells!! Then I popped them up on the card. On a scrap piece of Whisper White, I stamped the holly in black StazOn and colored it in with Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler markers. Then I cut it out and popped it up, too. And there you have it! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Good morning, Friends! Wow! We are already at the middle of the week! It's downhill from here to the weekend! I hope that you are having a super week, so far. It seems to be going good around here but I haven't tried to wake up my son yet - lol! He's been in a good mood these last few days and has been very agreeable and willing to do what he is supposed to do. I hope that keeps up!! He gets out of school early today and has a haircut so I think he should be happy about that.

Today's card was inspired by a sketch from Stamping 411. I haven't played along with their sketches in quite a while. I really liked this sketch! I thought it was unique and offered some fun possibilities! But when I sat down to create, I couldn't figure out what I wanted to do with the the focal point. I immediately reached for my butterflies but, geesh! I feel like I have used those so much. So I went in a different direction. And I think it turned out all right. It uses my favorite colors anyway - lol! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!
