Timeless Congrats

Hello everyone! I hope your week is going super! Hang on! The weekend is almost here! Nick will get registered tomorrow. Yikes! Today he would like me to take him shopping for clothes. I guess he could use some - lol! It's been a while and he has grown. I am looking forward to doing some live streaming today! The Stampin' UP! convention is going on right now and I can stream the On Stage event today! They will be showing some product from the upcoming Holiday catalog!! I'm excited for that!

Today's card was inspired by a card I saw in the current catalog. I needed some quick inspiration and that was a perfect place to find some!

  • Card base is Sahara Sand
  • Use the Triple Banner Punch to flag the ends of a piece of Timeless Elegance designer paper and adhere it to the card base
  • Punch a circle from another piece of Timeless Elegance designer paper with the 2 1/2" circle punch and adhere it to the card with dimensionals
  • Stamp the small flower image from Timeless Love stamp set onto a piece of Very Vanilla using Momento ink
  • Color in the image with an aqua painter filled with alcohol and Mint Macaron and Sahara Sand inks
  • For the leaves I used a Mint Macaron Marker to make them a little darker
  • Punch the image out using the 2" circle punch and adhere to card
  • Stamp the greeting onto a strip of Very Vanilla using Momento ink and angle the ends then adhere to card with dimensionals
  • Add rhinestones to flower centers and to card base
Pretty simple card! So have you all signed up for the upcoming Create with Connie and Mary mini edition?

Timeless Rose

Good morning, Friends! I hope you have had a fabulous week! I think it went by way too fast - lol! I was glad to get some rug hooking done yesterday! I made some good progress and feel motivated and excited to keep going!

Today's card was one I had wanted to try for a while. I had seen people color the roses on this gorgeous paper! It is super easy and makes stunning results!

  • Card base is Very Vanilla
  • Angle two strips of Basic Black card stock and adhere them to the card
  • Cut a piece of the Timeless Elegance designer paper and color the rose with a Pink Pirouette marker
  • Adhere the designer paper to a piece of Very Vanilla and adhere to the card base with dimensionals
  • Stamp the greeting from Timeless Love stamp set using Momento ink
  • Add three pearls at the top
Super easy card but so elegant! Love the font from the Timeless Love stamp set! Before I leave I want to let you know about a fun even coming up!

CCMC Saturday Blog Hop: Tunnel Card

Hello everyone! It's time again for a Saturday blog hop with the designers of Create with Connie and Mary! This week we are featuring Tunnel Cards! I am your stop right after the fabulous Debbie Henderson

It was my turn to come up with the special card to make this week and I chose the Tunnel Card! I had never made one before and it turned out to be really easy and a lot of fun! I just had trouble cutting into the beautiful Timeless Elegance designer paper! But here is what the front looks like...

And the inside...

My finished card measures 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". Instead of writing out all the dimensions and steps I will let you look up the directions. I didn't really have measurements for the scoring and folding. The folds are in half and half again. I used the Timeless Love stamp set. The colors are Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Smoky Slate and Basic Grey. The flowers are colored with Pink Pirouette, Wisteria Wonder, Pear Pizzazz and So Saffron markers. I also used the Ovals framelits and the Everyday Chic designer washi tape. Basic Black stitched satin ribbon was used on the front as well as pearls inside and out! I hope you have a chance to try making one, too! But first check out what the fabulous Connie Babbert has created! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!
