Crafty Birthday Buddy

Good morning, Friends! It's Wednesday and it's one of my favorite days of the week! I have a shorter day at school and it means we are on the downhill side to the weekend! It's going to be a busy weekend so there won't be much time to catch up on rest but I'm still looking forward to it! Nick got home last night and said that JV won their soccer game last night! And he said that he didn't get scored on in goal! Just wish we could have seen him play but that's the way it goes. Pat and I did get to see our nieces play volleyball at the middle school yesterday and that was fun! They won both their games! Here's hoping that I get a lot of stamping and laundry done today!!

Today's card is a fun one! Love the Little Buddy Birthday stamp set! Such cute images! I kept it simple and had fun coloring with my blendabilities!

• Card base is Crumb Cake
• Run a piece of Coastal Cabana through the Big Shot using the Large Polka Dots embossing folder then adhere to card base
• Made a tag from Whisper White and round the top with the 1 3/4" circle punch and punch a hole for the ribbon
• Stamp the greeting from Little Buddy Birthday at the bottom of the tag using Tuxedo Black Momento ink
• Punch a strip of Calypso Coral using the dotted ribbon scallop punch and adhere to back of tag
• Thread a piece of the Natural 5/8" Chevron ribbon through the hole and tie it together with a piece of white baker's twine
• Adhere tag to card with dimensionals
• Stamp the bird image onto a piece of Whisper White using Tuxedo Black Momento ink and color in with Blendabilities: Daffodil Delight, Coastal Cabana and Calypso Coral
• Cut the bird out and adhere to tag with dimensionals

Hello everyone! No kiddos to work with today but hopefully later this week! So I am on my lunch break and wanted to share this card I made this morning. I hope your week is going great so far! Tomorrow is a shorter day for me so I will hopefully be feeling the mojo and can start making cards and getting ahead of the game - lol!

Today's card was inspired by the sketch at The Sweetest Thing. 

• Card base is Whisper White
• Run a piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock through the Big Shot using the Large Polka Dots embossing folder and adhere to card base
• Adhere a piece of Pumpkin Pie to the card
• Stamp the dinosaur from Little Birthday Buddy using Tuxedo Black Momento ink and color with the blendabilities: Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie, and Old Olive then cut out
• Stamp the balloon image using Tuxedo Black Momento ink onto a piece of Whisper White and color with Pumpkin Pie blendabilities also stamp the greeting
• Round the top right hand corner of the piece with the Project Life corner rounder and adhere to card with dimensionals
• Adhere dinosaur with dimensionals
• Add three Old Olive candy dots to card

Armadillo Friend

Good morning, Friends! I hope your week is going super! Mine seems to be going but I have nothing to show for it - lol! I need to get myself into gear! I hurt my arm pretty badly while I was gone and it has made it hard to do some things. And I am slow at others. It's not healing as fast as I would like it to so I don't seem to have the motivation to do anything. But as this is my last card in the "pile" for my blog, I had better at least give it a try! I do hope it won't bother me to badly while I am stamping. I guess I had better let the doctor check it out to make sure it will heal up. Ugh! 

Today's card is one of my favorites! I just love these little critters from the Little Buddy Birthday set!

• Card base is Rich Razzleberry
• On the left hand side of the card base, stamp the dots from Dotty Angles using Rich Razzleberry ink
• Adhere a piece of Soft Sky to the card base
• Make a tag from Whisper White card stock and scallop the bottom of it with the scallop edge border punch
• Stamp the greeting from Little Buddy Birthday onto the tag with Tuxedo Black Momento ink
• Tie a piece of Mossy Meadow stitched satin ribbon through the tag
• Stamp the armadillo onto a piece of Whisper White using Tuxedo Black Momento ink and color him in with Old Olive blendabilities and Blushing Bride (for his nose) then cut out
• Before adhering the pieces onto the card, stamp the balloon onto the Soft Sky panel using Soft Sky ink
• Adhere the armadillo to the tag and then adhere elements to card with dimensionals

Coastal Cabana, Hello Honey and Baked Brown Sugar. All In Colors and very fun!! Here's my card...

This week the theme was Young at Heart - Babies and Kids. So I decided to use my new stamp set - Little Buddy Birthday. I thought this set was SO stinkin' cute! All my nieces and nephews are growing up so quickly but I still couldn't resist!

• Card base is Coastal Cabana
• Run two pieces of Baked Brown Sugar through the Big Shot using the Decorative Dots embossing folder and adhere to card
• Use the Circles framelits to cut a circle from Hello Honey and a circle from Whisper White and adhere
• Stamp the sentiment from Little Buddy Birthday onto the Whisper White circle using Tuxedo black Momento ink then adhere to other circle and then adhere to card with dimensionals
• Add a strip of Baked Brown Sugar to card
• Stamp the little dinosaur image onto a piece of Whisper White using Tuxedo black Momento ink and color with Hello Honey and Baked Brown Sugar markers and Coastal Cabana blendabilities
• Cut out the dinosaur and adhere to card with dimensionals

Hello everyone! Another new and cute stamp set! Love these little animals!

• Card base is Coastal Cabana
• Run a piece of Coastal Cabana through the Big Shot using the Large Polka Dot embossing folder
• Use the dotted ribbon scallop punch to punch a strip of Daffodil Delight and adhere to embossed piece then adhere to card base
• Adhere a piece of Pumpkin Pie to a piece of Whisper White and round the bottom left hand corner
• Stamp the greeting from Little Buddy Birthday using Tuxedo Black Momento ink to the Whisper White piece then adhere to card with dimensionals
• Stamp the toucan image onto a piece of Whisper White and color with blendabilites: Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Cherry Cobbler
• Cut out the image and adhere to card with dimensionals
• Punch a flower from Daffodil Delight card stock and adhere to card
• Add a rhinestone to flower center
