CCMC Saturday Blog Hop and Preview

Hello everyone! It's a Saturday blog hop with the designers of Create with Connie and Mary! Today we are featuring a card using the stamp set that we will use during the upcoming Card "Create"tions Celebrations edition which starts tomorrow!! I do hope that you have signed up! I am your stop right after the talented Debbie Henderson! The first day of Preview Week I showed a card using the Pictogram Punches stamp set. And that is one stamp set I will be using. I will also be using this stamp set, Snuggles and Smooches! What a fun set! To see the other cards I made, you will have to be a subscriber of this edition! We start tomorrow!

This is such a fun and easy card! And I love the bright colors!

  • Card base is Melon Mambo cut at 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and folded in half
  • Cut a piece of Whisper White at 3" x 5"
  • Stamp the smaller scribble image from the Snuggles and Smooches stamp set using Tuxedo black Momento ink (two times) and then stamp one more onto a scrap of Whisper White
  • Stamp the "hello" from the Hi There stamp set using Tuxedo black Momento ink onto the white panel
  • Use the Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight markers to trace the scribble lines and do the same for the one stamped on the scrap piece using the Melon Mambo marker
  • Adhere stamped panel to a piece of Basic Black cut at 5" x 3 1/4" and adhere to card using dimensionals
  • Cut the Melon Mambo "flower" out
  • Punch a flower from Old Olive card stock using the Flower Medallion punch and cut two petals to be the leaves for the flower
  • Adhere the leaves to the back of the cut out flower and then adhere flower to card using dimensionals
  • Add rhinestones to card

CCMC 325

Good morning, Friends! It's time for another fabulous challenge from the Create with Connie and Mary team! This week we have a sketch to work with. Take a look!

And my card...

I kept my card simple like the sketch and decided to do something other than Christmas.

  • Card base is 8 1/2" x 4 1/4" and folded in half to make a 4 1/4" square card
  • Adhere a strip of Color Me Autumn designer paper to the front of the card base
  • Use the Essentials paper piercing pack to pierce a circle for the background
  • Make a tag from Whisper White and flag the end
  • Stamp the greeting from Hi There onto the tag with Mossy Meadow ink then adhere the tag to the card with dimensionals
  • Thread a piece of white baker's twine through a basic metal button and tie around a folded piece of Mossy Meadow stitched satin ribbon then adhere to the tag
  • Punch a flower from Calypso Coral card stock using the itty bitty accents punch pack and adhere to card
  • Add a Daffodil Delight candy dot to flower center
Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team did with this sketch! You will find their beautiful work at the Create with Connie and Mary site! Have you signed up for the Holiday Edition? You still can! You will get to see all the wonderful creations that have been shared! You really don't want to miss this! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Hello Beautiful Bunch

Good morning everyone! I'm so glad it's Friday!! I am ready for a stamping weekend! I've got a lot to do! I ended up getting sick during the night Wednesday so I stayed home from school yesterday. Not a great way to start off the year. I am willing myself to go this morning. I feel a lot better but I am still very tired. Thankfully I don't have a lot of kiddos yet. Nick has had soccer tryouts all week and they will do some scrimmages this weekend. He is going to be goalie half time and field the other half for JV! I'm so excited for him!!

Today's card was another one we did at stamp club this month. I just love these colors together!!

  • Card base is Pistachio Pudding
  • Use the scallop edge border punch to punch the side of a piece Mossy Meadow and adhere to card
  • Adhere a piece of All Abloom designer paper to card
  • Stamp the hello image from Hi There onto he card base with Mossy Meadow
  • Stamp the flower image from Beautiful Bunch onto a piece of Whisper White using Strawberry Slush ink and again onto a piece of Strawberry Slush using Strawberry Slush ink
  • Punch both flowers out using the Fun Flower punch and adhere together using dimensionals
  • Fold a piece of Mossy Meadow stitched satin ribbon in half and adhere to back of flowers then adhere to card with dimensionals
  • Stamp the flower again onto Whisper White using Daffodil Delight ink and cut center out then adhere to flower
  • Add a rhinestone
Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

FTL 302

Good morning, Friends! Well this week was quite an adjustment for me! I am still trying to figure out when I will have the energy and time to stamp a few cards. I ended up only doing one card between Wednesday and today. I have just been too tired by the time I get home and have to make dinner. So I am looking at the weekend as a possible answer. I got some new goodies and am looking forward to playing with them!! Nick's Back-to-School night was last night and it was great to meet all his teachers! I really like them and think that if Nick will put out his best effort, he will do very well!! So excited about that! I get to meet with some first grade teachers about getting started with some kiddos! I'm excited to get started!!

Today's card was inspired by the sketch at Clean&Simple. I really needed a simple card and this works!!

  • Card base is Pistachio Pudding
  • Use the scallop edge border punch to punch the side of a piece of All Abloom designer paper then adhere to a piece of Pistachio Pudding
  • Tie a piece of Island Indigo 1/4" cotton ribbon around panel and adhere to card base with dimensionals
  • Stamp the greeting from He There onto a piece of Whisper White using Island Indigo ink
  • Use the Apothecary Accents framelits to cut out the greeting and adhere to card with dimensionals
  • Punch a flower from Strawberry Slush using the itty bitty accents punch pack and adhere to card
  • Adhere a rhinestone to flower center
Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Strawberry Bunch

Good morning, Friends! Well, last Friday I applied for a job with a local elementary school. That same day I got an email to select a time for my interview on Monday. I picked a time and went for the interview on Monday. On Wednesday I got a call that I had been selected for the position and need to fill out paperwork. So I spent the afternoon on Wednesday doing that. Today is my first day! Wooho! We just have meetings today but I am also going to see my room and get keys and meet the staff. School starts on Monday! Crazy! It's a part time position right now but I am more than thrilled! I am also really nervous - lol! But I have some great friends that are really encouraging me and so I feel ready! My son is even really excited for me. He asked me last night what I was going to wear. That cracked me up!! He is looking out for me!

Today's card started with a sketch in mind but ended up like this. And I like it! The colors just make me so happy! The colors came from the All Abloom designer paper.

  • Card base is Whisper White
  • Adhere a piece of All Abloom designer paper to a piece of Mossy Meadow card stock
  • Stamp the greeting from Hi There in Mossy Meadow and adhere panel to card base with dimensionals
  • Adhere a strip of Lost Lagoon card stock
  • Stamp the flower image from Beautiful Bunch onto Strawberry Slush card stock and onto Whisper White using Strawberry Slush ink and punch both out with the Fun Flower punch
  • Adhere both flowers together using dimensionals and then adhere to card with glue dots (I put the dimensionals and glue dots on the middle part of my flowers so I could curl the petals up)
  • Stamp the flower image again onto Whisper White using Daffodil Delight ink and cut out the flower center then adhere to flowers on card
  • Add three Blushing Bride candy dots to card
Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!
