Good morning everyone! It's Thursday and time for another fun and fabulous challenge from the Create with Connie and Mary team! This week we have a super fun sketch! Check it out!

I decided to make it work with my Cheerful Critters stamp set. I tried to resist this set but it is too cute and soon it made its way to my home!

I though it would be cute to make a sort of Valentine card. "I like your face" made me smile! Too cute!

Good morning, Friends! It is really foggy around here this morning! My son and husband left just a little while ago for Kansas! Yep! The whole house to myself! Woohoo!! I have a shorter day at school today and was hoping to come home and start the fun but I have to go to the DMV. UGH!!! My driver's license expires on my birthday (which is Friday) so I had better take care of that today. Not looking forward to that but it has to be done. I hope that my family has good roads all day today!

Today's card was inspired by the sketch at Paper Craft Crew Challenges! I was really inspired by Justin's card! WOW! I wanted to copy that one but decided to take it in a different direction. I am loving this Snuggles & Smooches set! I kept my card very simple!

  • Card base is Whisper White
  • I stamped the squiggle circle from Snuggles & Smooches onto the card base using Crisp Cantaloupe ink

  • Stamp the sentiment onto a piece of Whisper White using Calypso Coral ink and cut out then adhere to card with dimensionals
  • Stamp the heart image onto Whisper White using Real Red ink and cut out then adhere to card

Good morning everyone! We are having a snowy start to our day here in Kansas! I miss seeing the white stuff! And I am glad that I don't have to travel in it! It did look like Thursday would be the best day to travel but we will keep watching. I think we are ready to go home. ;)

Today's card is another valentine card. I won this lumberjack set from Stampin' Up! during the Occasions and SAB premier. • Card base is Crumb Cake
  • Use the Large Scallop border edgelit to scallop the edge of a piece of Night of Navy card stock
  • Stamp the Woodgrain background stamp onto a piece of Crumb Cake using Crumb Cake ink and then adhere to the Night of Navy panel then adhere panel to card base with dimensionals
  • Stamp the lumberjack from Wood You Be Mine set onto Whisper White using Tuxedo black Momento ink then stamp his shirt using Crumb Cake ink

  • Carefully cut out the lumberjack and adhere him to the card with dimensionals
  • Stamp the greeting onto a strip of Crumb Cake using Night of Navy ink and flag the end then adhere to card

We also did a little shopping yesterday. Nick needed new shoes and he wanted to spend his Christmas money. And today we look to take down the tree and enjoy some football! And Pat is making gumbo! Yum!!

  • Stamp the greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes in Real Red ink onto Whisper White layer
  • Adhere layer to card with dimensionals
  • Punch a banner from Real Red using the Bitty Banner punch and adhere to card
  • Punch a heart from Real Red using the Owl builder punch and adhere to card
  • Add small rhinestone to heart

At least it looks to be a quiet week with the normal practices but that's about it. I was able to get a lot of quilting done on my plus quilt and I should finish it up today. Then I need to quilt my snowman quilt and get the binding sewn on both. But that may have to wait till next week? We will see. Have to figure out the rest of my schedule first…

  • Adhere heart to card with dimensionals
