The Stamp Review Crew: Four Feathers

Hello everyone! It's time for another fabulous blog hop from The Stamp Review Crew! Today we will be showing you some great ideas using the Four Feathers stamp set! I am your stop after the super talented Lisa Young! What an inspiration she is!

I am sad that this set will not be in the new catalog. While I haven't played with this set much, it is so versatile and easy to use with the coordinating framelits! Here's what I created!

  • Card base is Whisper White
  • Run a piece of Soft Sky through the Big Shot using the Large Polka Dots embossing folder and adhere to card base
  • On a piece of Whisper White stamp the large feather image from the Four Feathers stamps set using Blackberry Bliss ink and stamp the greeting from the Something to Say on the panel using Blackberry Bliss ink, too
  • Stamp the large splotch stamp from Gorgeous Grunge onto the panel using Soft Sky ink and the smaller splotches using Smoky Slate ink then adhere panel to card with dimensionals
  • Stamp the smaller feather images onto a piece of Whisper White using Old Olive and Smoky Slate inks and cut out using the coordinating Feathers framelits
  • Adhere the smaller feathers together and then to the card with dimensionals
  • Thread a piece of linen thread through a silver basic metal button and tie a bow then adhere to card
It's time to send you on to the super talented Tanya Boser! I know that you will be inspired by what she has created! Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!

Hello everyone! It's time for another fun challenge from the Create with Connie and Mary team! This week we are being challenged with color! Take a look at these fabulous colors!

Mossy Meadow, Lost Lagoon and Silver! I was thinking that I could use them for a Christmas card but I wanted to use my Four Feathers set so this is what I came up with!

  • Card base is Whisper White
  • Adhere a strip of the All is Calm designer paper to the card base (this piece has silver foil dots on the paper which is hard to see from the photo)
  • Use the Project Life corner rounder to round the two right hand side corners of a piece of Lost Lagoon and then adhere to card
  • Run a piece of Whisper White card stock through the Big Shot using the Decorative Dots embossing folder and adhere to card with dimensionals
  • Stamp the feather images from Four Feathers onto Whisper White using Mossy Meadow and Lost Lagoon then cut out using the Feathers framelits dies and adhere to card with dimensionals
  • Stamp the greeting from Petite Pairs onto a piece of Whisper White using Lost Lagoon ink and punch out using the small oval punch then adhere to card with dimensionals
  • Tie a bow with a piece of silver baker's twine and adhere to card

PPA 218

Good morning, Friends! Well, Monday came and went and I lived to tell about it - lol! I survived so now it's time to get through the rest of the week. I can do this! I think I am a little more caught up and will be able to feel a little more organized this week. It rained yesterday and last night and is supposed to rain some more. Wow! We usually don't get this much rain but it sure is nice! I'm loving the cooler weather!

Today's card was inspired by the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch and the color palette at Pals Paper Arts. So I pulled out the beautiful Four Feathers stamp set and got to work!

  • Card base is Hello Honey
  • Cut a piece of Blackberry Bliss the shape you want it and use the Feathers framelits to cut the feather shapes
  • Stamp the two feather images onto Hello Honey card stock using Hello Honey ink and cut out using the Feathers framelits
  • Adhere the feathers to the card base using the Blackberry Bliss panel as a placement guide
  • Adhere the Blackberry Bliss panel to the card with dimensionals
  • Stamp the greeting from Four You onto a strip of Crumb Cake using Blackberry Bliss ink and flag the end
  • Tie a piece of linen thread through a gold basic metal button and where to card
Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Thankful Feathers

Good morning, everyone! It's Friday! Woohoo! I'm glad even though it's going to be a busy weekend! Nick has his first mountain bike race! I'm really excited to see how this all works! And he's excited, too!! It will make for a late night getting home on Sunday but that's the way it goes. My work is getting much busier! I have a full day of kids! I need to get myself a more organized as I go from class to class. Maybe I'll find some time today??

Today's card was inspired by one I had saved in my files. I am loving these feathers! I think this set would make excellent masculine cards! I'm not sure if a guy would like the button and bow but that could be changed up!

  • Card base is Whisper White
  • On another piece of Whisper White adhere two strips of the Color Me Autumn washi tape
  • Stamp the greeting from Really Good Greetings in Soft Suede and then adhere panel to a piece of Crushed Curry
  • Adhere panel to card base with dimensionals
  • Stamp the two feathers images from Four Feathers onto Whisper White using Mossy Meadow and Cajun Craze inks then cut out using the Feathers framelits
  • Adhere feathers together then adhere to card with dimensionals
  • Tie a piece of linen thread through a gold basic metal button and adhere to card
Have a great weekend!

  • Stamp the feather images from Four Feathers onto Very Vanilla using Marina Mist and Tangelo Twist ink then cut out using the Feathers framelits and adhere to card with dimensionals
