Good morning everyone! I'm looking forward to a lazy Saturday! Watching football, doing laundry and doing a little stamping! And maybe if it warms up, I will try and go for a walk? We will see... We got all the decorations put away and the lights from the house taken down so that feels good! Now if the cleaning fairy would come and do some deep cleaning...

Today's card was inspired by the Mojo Monday sketch. My upline, Jan Wakeland, sent me this stamp set! I must admit that I didn't even know that Stampin' Up! had come out with this set. It's called Snuggles & Smooches and is SO cute! I am having fun coming up with ideas using this cute set! Thank you, Janet Wakeland!!

Good morning, Friends! I hope your week is off to a great start! It snowed here all day yesterday but nothing really stuck to the ground so the streets were just wet all day. It's supposed to continue today but we will see. We need the moisture so I'm glad when it doesn't stick around too long - lol! I'm making progress on my project and hope to have them done in the next few days!! It's great when I can stamp a few cards and then work on my project while watching it snow. Glad I can be by the fire!!

Today's card was inspired by the sketch at Mojo Monday. Was going for a different look. Seems like most of my cards have been a lot of white on white! I am glad that I just got more white card stock!! This one is vanilla. But I do have a lot more white cards - lol!!

  • Card base is Very Vanilla
  • Adhere a piece of Gumball Green to card base
  • Adhere a strip of Basic Gray to card
  • Use the Banners framelits to cut a banner from Epic Day designer paper and adhere to card
  • Round the top right corner of a piece of Calypso Coral and adhere to card with dimensionals
  • Stamp greeting from Six-Sided Sampler in Basic Gray onto Very Vanilla and adhere to card
  • Stamp the three hexagons from Six-Sided Sampler in  Gumball Green, Daffodil Delight and Pool Party onto Very Vanilla and punch out using the hexagon punch then adhere to card with dimensionals
  • Add two rhinestones (I would have put mini brads but I was too late so rhinestones it was)
There you have it! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Good Sunday morning! Did you remember to set your clocks ahead? We did and even went to bed an hour earlier. Doesn't seem to make a difference - lol! But it looks like the sun is going to be shining today! We had a nice rain and it sounds like the mountains had some snow so all is good! Nick will have a soccer game this morning and then I am off to spend the afternoon stitching! I did get my Crazy Quilt pillow done yesterday and I LOVE it!! I hope to have some pictures up on my other sewing blog later this week. It really turned out wonderful!!

Today's card was inspired by the sketch at Mojo Monday. It looks like I stamped my sentiment a little crooked - ugh! Oh well. I started by taking a piece of Crumb Cake and running it through the Big Shot with the Woodgrain embossing folder and then adhering it to a card base of Crumb Cake. Then I took a piece of of Print Poetry designer paper and adhered it to the card. I stamped the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes in Midnight Muse onto a piece of Summer Starfruit and added two brads. This is adhered to the card. Then I used the 2 1/2" circle punch to punch a circle from Crumb Cake. I stamped the coral image from By the Tide in Crumb Cake and sponged the edges. This is popped up onto the card. I stamped the fish in Midnight Muse onto Very Vanilla and cut it out and popped it up onto the card. Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Good morning, Friends! I hope your week is off to a fantastic start! Pat comes home today!! Yea! Nick and I have been managing just fine but we do miss daddy! Another quiet evening at home. Need to enjoy these as it will get quite busy in another month or so as the soccer season gets into full swing. I get to have a nice lunch with a friend I haven't seen in quite a while. I also need to get some stitching and stamping done. And there is always laundry...

Today's card was inspired by the sketch at Mojo Monday. Love the sketch and I think my card turned out o.k., too! Something a little different. I took my colors from the Sycamore Street designer paper. First off I embossed a piece of Summer Starfruit with the Honeycomb embossing folder and adhered it to a card base of Island Indigo. Then I stamped the banner image from Oh, Hello several times on Whisper White using Rich Razzleberry, Island Indigo, Tangerine Tango and Summer Starfruit markers. I also used the stamp-a-ma-jig to help me place each one. Then I cut it out and popped it up onto the card. A strip of Rich Razzleberry was adhered to the banner piece. Then I stamped the greeting onto Whisper White in Island Indigo and used the smallest oval framelit die to cut it out. This is popped up onto card. I added a butterfly that was cut from Tangerine Tango using the Beautiful Wings embosslit and a rhinestone. Thanks for stopping by and have a most wonderful day!

Card Recipe: Stamps- Oh, Hello; Paper- Island Indigo, Summer Starfruit, Rich Razzleberry, Tangerine Tango, Whisper White; Ink- Island Indigo, Tangerine Tango, Summer Starfruit, Rich Razzleberry; Accessories- Honeycomb embossing folder, Beautiful Wings embosslit, Ovals framelits dies, rhinestone, dimensionals

Good morning, Friends! Well, it's back to the deep freeze! I did not want to come out from under the blankets this morning. A few more hours of sleep would have been nice, too. But I must get back to the regularly scheduled program around here - lol! I can tell you that Nick is certainly not ready to get back to it all, either! But we must press onward. A haircut for me today and then I need to get caught up on laundry and some stamping.

Today's card was inspired by the Mojo Monday sketch from a few weeks ago. I actually made this card for a swap. I thought it was a great way to use those heart doilies that come with the More Amore designer paper! For this card I took a piece of Basic Grey and punched the side with the scallop edge border punch. To this I adhered two pieces of More Amore designer paper and then this panel is popped up onto a card base of Pool Party. Across the panel I adhered a strip of Real Red card stock that has the end flagged. Then I carefully cut a heart from the More Amore designer paper and stamped the greeting from Made for You in Basic Grey. This is popped up onto the card. I punched a heart from Real Red and popped it up on the bigger heart and added a pearl. Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!

Card Recipe: Stamps- Made for You; Paper- Pool Party, Basic Grey, More Amore designer paper; Ink- Basic Grey; Accessories- scallop edge border punch, small heart punch, pearl, dimensionals

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello everyone! And Happy Thanksgiving! We are taking the turkey to my sister's house and enjoying the day with her family. I am looking forward to football games and a great dinner!!

Today's card was inspired by last week's Mojo Monday sketch. I did leave off a few elements but they just didn't look quite right on my card. So I just kept it very simple! I adhered a piece of Orchard Harvest designer paper to a card base of Crumb Cake. Then I stamped the sentiment from Seasonal Sayings in Midnight Muse and Raspberry Ripple onto a piece of Crumb Cake. Then I stamped the leaf from Wonderfall in Crumb Cake right over the sentiment. I used the scallop trim punch on the edge of the piece and then sponged it with Crumb Cake ink. This is adhered to a piece of Midnight Muse. Then I tied a piece of Midnight Muse stitched satin ribbon around this before popping it up onto the card. Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

Card Recipe: Stamps- Seasonal Sayings, Wonderfall; Paper- Crumb Cake, Midnight Muse, Orchard Harvest designer paper; Ink- Midnight Muse, Raspberry Ripple, Crumb Cake; Accessories- Midnight Muse stitched satin ribbon, scallop trim punch, sponge, dimensionals

Mojo 238

Good morning, Friends! I hope your week is off to a great start! It's always nice to get Monday over with! Nothing exciting happening this week around here. I found some time to get some stamping done yesterday. Still need to catch up on a few things but then I think I am going to dive into some fabric that came in and start on my first quilt! I am so excited to do one! I will keep you updated on my progress. I am doing a "Fun and Done" quilt. I did square up my fabric yesterday so I will start cutting and getting it ready for sewing! Yea!!

Today's card was inspired by the Mojo Monday sketch! What a fantastic sketch they had this week! I love all the squares! I punched 12 squares from Whisper White with the 1 1/4" square punch and then ran them through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. Then I rounded opposite corners on each before I adhered them to a piece of Whisper White. I wrapped a piece of Wisteria Wonder ruffled ribbon around this and popped the panel up onto a Whisper White card base. Then I punched a piece of Whisper White with the 2 1/2" circle punch and stamped the stem from Fabulous Florets in Lucky Limeade. This circle is adhered to a piece of Wisteria Wonder that was cut with the Perfect Pennants die and then this is popped up onto the card. I stamped the flower in Wisteria Wonder onto a scrap of Whisper White and cut it out. This is popped up onto the stem. Then I stamped the greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes onto a strip of Whisper White, flagged one end and tucked the other behind the flower. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Card Recipe: Stamps- Fabulous Florets, Teeny Tiny Wishes; Paper- Whisper White, Wisteria Wonder; Ink- Wisteria Wonder, Lucky Limeade; Accessories- Wisteria Wonder ruffled ribbon, Perfect Pennants die, 2 1/2" circle punch, Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, corner rounder, dimensionals

Good morning, Friends! I am ready for a super great weekend! How about you all? I got to sleep in a little and later this morning we will head out to watch a little soccer! I will have to put on my wool socks and ear warmers, though! Last night as I was coming home it was raining slush and ice! Yuck! This morning there is remnants of that on the ground and my car. The sun is trying to shine so we will see if it warms up any.

Today's card was inspired from the Mojo Monday sketch. I wanted to do something different so I pulled out my extreme stamps and came up with this. I haven't showed it to my son yet so I haven't gotten "official" approval if it is good enough. But I like it! And i really think Nick will, too. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Card Recipe: Stamps- Extreme Elements, Extreme Dirt Bike; Paper- Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Basic Black, Whisper White, Neutrals designer paper pack; Ink- Basic Black, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight; Accessories- large star punch, Tasteful Trim die, sponge, dimensionals

MOJO 181

Good morning, Friends! Did you remember to set your clocks forward? We had a soccer game yesterday in Fort Collins and drove home afterwards. And now we get to enjoy spring break! Yeah!!! I am so thankful that the time change happened at the stat of spring break so that we can get used to it. The boys tied their game. My son, Nick, had the chance to make the winning goal but their goalie caught it. Ugh! I know that he wishes he could do it again but at least he gave it a really great try! I am really excited, too, as the March Madness bracket comes out today!

So, today's card was inspired by a sketch at Mojo Monday. This is really not my style but I thought I would try something different. Of course, I love the colors - lol! The sketch had these swirly things in the bottom right hand corner and I tried to pierce some swirlys but I don't think they came out very good. Anyway, I gave it a try :) Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Card Recipe: Stamps- Wonderful Favorites; Paper- Crumb Cake, Basic Black, First Edition designer paper; Ink- Basic Black, Crumb Cake; Accessories- Basic Black satin ribbon, Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, black jewels, scallop edge trim border punch, 3" circle die, 1/2" circle punch, sponge, dimensionals
