CCMC Saturday Blog Hop: Cucumber Crush

Hello everyone! It's time for another Saturday blog hop with the Create with Connie and Mary designers! This week we are featuring projects made with the Cucumber Crush color. I am your stop after the fabulous Debbie Henderson!

This new In Color can be a bit intimidating as it is pretty bright! So I used a bit of vellum and some white to help tone it down a bit. And I quite like how it turned out!

• Card base is Whisper White
• Adhere a piece of Cucumber Crush to a piece of Cherry on Top designer paper
• Flag the bottom of a piece of vellum using the Triple Banner punch and adhere to panel by folding the top part of the banner to the back of the panel
• Adhere panel to card base with dimensionals
• Punch a flower from Whisper White card stock using the Fun Flower punch
• Punch a circle from Cucumber Crush using the 1" circle punch and adhere to flower center
• Stamp the greeting from Crazy About You stamp set onto a strip of Whisper White using Cucumber Crush ink and flag both ends then adhere to flower center with dimensionals
• Stamp the leafy stem onto Whisper White using Cucumber Crush ink and cut out then adhere to back of flower and adhere flower to card with dimensionals
• Add some white perfect accents to card

The Stamp Review Crew: Crazy About You

Hello everyone! It's time for another fabulous blog hop from The Stamp Review Crew! This time we are featuring projects made using the Crazy About You stamp set! I am your stop after the fabulous Tanya Boser! 

I used the color challenge from Create with Connie and Mary and last week's sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. 

• Card base is Sahara Sand
• Cut a circle from a piece of Sahara Sand using the Circles framelits
• On another piece of Sahara Sand, stamp the Hardwood background stamp using Sahara Sand ink
• Adhere the stamped panel to the back of the cut out circle using dimensionals then adhere to card base
• Stamp the greeting from Crazy About You stamp set onto a strip of Very Vanilla using Perfect Plum ink and flag both ends then adhere to card
• Stamp the flower image onto Very Vanilla using Perfect Plum two times then punch each one out using the Flower Medallion punch
• Adhere both flowers together with a dimensional
• Stamp the leaf image two times onto Very Vanilla using Mint Macaron ink and cut each out by hand
• Adhere leafy stems to the back of the flower
• Adhere flower to card using dimensionals
• Thread some gold metallic thread through a Very Vintage designer button (I used three strands) and tie a bow then adhere button to flower center

Control Freaks Blog Tour: New Product!

Hello everyone! It's time for another blog tour with the Freaks! This month we are featuring products from the new catalog that will debut on June 2! I am your stop right after the fabulous Heidi Boos! So sit back and enjoy the tour!!

While I did get a couple of new stamp sets, I took the time to show off the new colors! They are just so yummy!! So here are two very simple cards!

• Card base is Tip Top Taupe
• Stamp the background image from You've Got This onto the card base using Tip Top Taupe
• Stamp the greeting from Crazy About You onto a piece of Mint Macaron using Bermuda Bay ink
• Tie a piece of Mint Macaron dotted lace trim around the panel and adhere to card base using dimensionals
• Stamp the flower images from the Crazy About You stamp set onto a piece of Whisper White using Delightful Dijon and punch out using the scallop circle punch then adhere the bottom one to the Mint Macaron panel and the top one using dimensionals
• Add pearls to flower centers

My second card is much brighter and so much fun! 

• Card base is Cucumber Crush
• Adhere a piece of Cherry on Top designer paper to the card base
• Stamp the greeting from the Crazy About You stamp set onto a piece of Pool Party using Bermuda Bay ink
• Tie a piece of Whisper White cotton ribbon around the panel and adhere to card base
• Cut a banner from Whisper White and adhere to card
• Use the Bitty Butterfly punch to punch butterflies from Watermelon Wonder, Crushed Curry and Bermuda Bay card stock and adhere them to the banner with glue dots
• Add rhinestones to butterfly bodies

Hello Sunshine Tag

Hello everyone! I hope your week is going super! I'm so excited that today is the last day for this week! I will have a few days off and I am hoping to get some fun things accomplished! We are counting the days till summer break! Woohoo!! One more full week and then three days! But we need to get through the day that is before us. So here's to today!

Today's card was one I created for a swap I was in this past month. I was inspired by another card I had seen that used the white ink with the Woodgrain stamp on Crumb Cake card stock. I love that look!

• Card base is Crumb Cake
• On a piece of Crumb Cake stamp the Hardwood background stamp using Whisper White craft ink then adhere to card base
• Create a tag from Whisper White and punch the top using the Ornate tag topper punch
• Fold a small strip of Mossy Meadow card stock in half and adhere to top of tag
• Stamp the leaf image from Crazy About You onto the tag using Mossy Meadow ink
• Stamp the greeting using Early Espresso ink then adhere tag to card with dimensionals
• Stamp the flower onto a piece of Whisper White using Hello Honey ink and punch out using the Flower Medallion punch and adhere to card with dimensionals
• Punch the flower center from Early Espresso card stock using the 7/8" scallop circle punch and adhere to flower center using dimensionals
• Thread a piece of linen thread through a gold basic metal button and tie a bow then adhere to flower center

A Blushing Mother's Day

Good morning, Friends! It's FRIDAY!!! And it's finally raining!!! We have needed the moisture so badly! Now I just wish that I could spend the morning drinking coffee cuddled under a blanket - lol! Yesterday I drove to school and worked with a group of 1st graders before I had to go out for my crosswalk duty. Well, I get myself ready and walk to the door and find out it is snowing! What the what?! I could not believe it! And it snowed for half the day! So I am happy for the rain. Guess I had better find my umbrella!

Today's card was the last of the stamp club cards for this month. And this one is my favorite! And it is super easy!

• Card base is Whisper White
• Stamp the splatter stamp from Gorgeous Grunge onto the card base using Soft Sky
• Cut the label shape from Whisper White using the Deco Labels thinlits
• Stamp the leaf image from Crazy About You onto the label using Pear Pizzazz ink
• Stamp the sentiment using Tuxedo black Momento ink then adhere the label to the card using dimensionals
• Stamp the flower image onto a piece of Whisper White using Blushing Bride ink and punch out using the Flower Medallion punch then adhere to card with dimensionals
• Thread a piece of linen thread through a gold basic metal button and tie a bow then adhere to the flower center

CCMC Spring Collection Blog Hop: Week 4

This past week I used the Crazy About You stamp set on the Spring Collection. I love this set with the all the words and a few images as well! A lot of stamps for the money! I went with a simple layout and some bright colors!

• Card base is Whisper White cut at 4 1/4" x 11" and folded in half
• Cut a piece of Sahara Sand at 4" x 5 1/4"
• Stamp the speckle stamp from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set onto the Sahara Sand panel using Sahara Sand ink and adhere to card base
• Cut a tag from Whisper White that measures 2" x 4" and use the Scallop Tag Topper punch to make a tag
• Stamp the sentiment from the Crazy About You stamp set onto the tag using Sahara Sand ink
• Thread a piece of Crushed Curry 3/4" Chevron Ribbon through the tag top and tie with a piece of Whisper White Painted Blooms cotton twine
• Adhere tag to the card with dimensionals
• Stamp the flower image onto a piece of Whisper White using Calypso Coral ink and punch out using the 1 3/4" scallop circle punch
• Cut into each petal of the flower 
• Stamp the leaf image onto a piece of Whisper White using Mossy Meadow ink and cut out then adhere to the back of the flower
• Adhere the flower to the tag with dimensionals
• Add a rhinestone to the flower center

Crazy Bliss

Good morning everyone! I am so glad it's Wednesday! That means we are halfway through the week and today is my shorter day! Woohoo! I am getting my much needed manicure and then I am coming home to put my feet up! Boy am I tired!! At least the weather has been very nice! Nothing like out east! And because it's been so nice, I can feel myself catching that spring fever!

Today's card was a fun one! I am really loving the Crazy About You stamp set! I got the bundle so there are even more possibilities with this set!

• Card base is Whisper White
• Round the top right hand corner of the card base
• I cut a piece of the Irresistibly Yours designer paper the same size as the front of my card and rounded the corner 
• Use a sponge and Smoky Slate ink to sponge this special designer paper to create your own designer paper (pretty cool!)
• Stamp the splotches from Gorgeous Grunge onto the sponged paper (the embossed lines resist the sponging and the stamping)
• Adhere paper to the card base
• Cut a strip of Whisper White and use the Finishing Touches edgelits to cut the bottom of the strip
• Stamp the leaf image from Crazy About You onto the strip using Old Olive ink and stamp the leaf image again onto another piece of Whisper White using Old Olive ink and cut out
• Stamp the flower image onto a piece of Whisper White using Blackberry Bliss and punch out with the Flower Medallion punch
• Adhere the cut leaf/stem to the back of the flower and then adhere to card with dimensionals
• Stamp the sentiment onto the strip using Smoky Slate ink and then adhere tag to card
• Tie a piece of Whisper White twine from the Painted Blooms Cotton twine into a bow and adhere to flower center
• Add rhinestones

CCMC Preview Week Day 3!

Good morning, Friends! It's a rainy one around here. But instead of staying inside and snuggling up to the fire, I will be hustling off to work! I am glad that I like my job or it would be tough to get motivated. Tomorrow my husband and son take off to see my family in Kansas! I am sad that I can't go but I am also really excited to have the whole house to myself for the weekend!!! I am looking forward to getting some things done around here without so many distractions from them - lol! Tonight we will be looking for a new couch as the one we have will be going to my parents' house. 

Today's card was made for a recent swap I was in. I love this bundle! It's the Crazy About You stamp set and the Hello You thinlits. Lots of fun with these products!

• Card base is Sahara Sand
• Run a piece of Whisper White card stock through the Big Shot using the Decorative Dots embossing folder and adhere to card base
• Use the fringe scissors to fringe a piece of Pistachio Pudding and adhere to the back of a piece of Best Year Ever designer paper then adhere to card
• Make a take from Whisper White and use the Ornate Tag Topper punch for the top of the tag
• Run the tag through the Big Shot using the Hello You thinlits and cut the "you" out of the tag
• Stamp the "amaze me" from Crazy About You stamp set using Coastal Cabana ink
• Tie a piece of Coastal Cabana ribbon from the Best Year Ever accessory pack at the top of the tag and adhere tag to card with dimensionals
• Stamp the flower onto a piece of Whisper White using Crushed Curry ink and punch out with the Flower Medallion punch then adhere to card with dimenisonals
• Add a rhinestone to flower center

• Card base is Whisper White cut at 11" x 4 1/4" and folded in half
• Stamp the leaf image from Crazy About You in Pistachio Pudding
• Cut a piece of Best Year Ever designer paper at 2" x 5" and flag the bottom then adhere to card base
• Stamp the flower image onto a piece of Whisper White card stock using Crisp Cantaloupe ink and punch out using the Flower Medallion punch
• Stamp the flower image again onto Whisper White using Calypso Coral ink and cut the middle section out and adhere to bigger flower with dimensionals
• Adhere layered flower to the card with dimensionals
• Stamp the greeting onto the card base using Calypso Coral ink
• Tie a piece of linen thread through a basic metal button and adhere to flower center
