Preview Week: Day 1 and Blog Candy

Hello everyone! I am so excited! It's Preview Week at Create with Connie and Mary! I am first up for sharing a a card with you all! I hope you're as excited about the Occasions and Sale-a-Bration catalogs as we are! So many great products and ideas! My card today features the Crazy About You stamp set. I will be using this set during the Spring Collection! But the only way to see the project is to be a subscriber of the Spring Collection and you can sign up at the Create with Connie and Mary website. Right now the early bird pricing is going on! 

 Card details:

  • Card base is Whisper White cut at 11" x 4 1/4" and folded in half
  • Stamp the leaf image from Crazy About You in Pistachio Pudding
  • Cut a piece of Best Year Ever designer paper at 2" x 5" and flag the bottom then adhere to card base
  • Stamp the flower image onto a piece of Whisper White card stock using Crisp Cantaloupe ink and punch out using the Flower Medallion punch
  • Stamp the flower image again onto Whisper White using Calypso Coral ink and cut the middle section out and adhere to bigger flower with dimensionals
  • Adhere layered flower to the card with dimensionals
  • Stamp the greeting onto the card base using Calypso Coral ink
  • Tie a piece of linen thread through a basic metal button and adhere to flower center

    Another stunner Debra......
    I have been an avid fan of your creativity for a LONG time....often CASEing them (ur Baked Brown Sugar/Cobbler/Garden Green one was a particular fave indeed. My only wish is that you had a "pin" option on ur cards......(sigh).
    I so v v much appreciate the fact that you provide dimension and sizes in ur descriptions. Makes life a lot easier for folks like me who want a wee more Artfelt in their day.
    Love this card as well. I am looking v much fwd to getting my hands on this set and having a go at this one too.
