The Stamp Review Crew: Wondrous Wreath

Hello everyone! It's time for another blog hop with the Stamp Review Crew! This time we are featuring the Wondrous Wreath stamp set! This stamp set was released in the Holiday mini catalog but has been carried over! I used it for fall and Christmas so it was fun to come up with something for the spring season! I am your stop right after the fabulous Martha Inchley.

With the weather we are having here in Western Colorado, it wasn't hard to make a spring card! It is just gorgeous around here! So I looked ahead to an upcoming holiday and chose Mother's Day to make this pretty spring wreath.

I used the sketch at Freshly Made to help me with the layout and the colors came from the All Abloom designer paper stack.

  • Card Base is Whisper White
  • Adhere a strip of the All Abloom designer paper to the card base
  • Run a piece of Pistachio Pudding card stock through the Big Shot using the Decorative Dots embossing folder then adhere to card
  • Stamp the first layer of leaves from Wondrous Wreath onto a piece of Whisper White using Pistachio Pudding ink
  • Stamp the second layer of leaves over the first layer using Mossy Meadow ink then cut out using the Wonderful Wreath framelits
  • Adhere wreath to card with dimensionals
  • Stamp the sentiment from And Many More onto a strip of Whisper White using Tuxedo Black Momento ink and angle the ends then adhere to wreath with dimensionals
  • Punch a variety of flowers from Strawberry Slush, Daffodil Delight and Blushing Bride using the itty bitty accents punch pack
  • Adhere flowers to the wreath then add rhinestones to flower centers
Now it's time to send you on to see what the talented Ann Shach has to show you! I know you will be inspired! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Wonderful Christmas Wreath

Good morning, Friends! It's FRIDAY!! Woohoo!! It has seemed like a really long week! This weekend is my son's last bike race so it will be nice to get out of town. I still have my sore throat and a cough but I think I may have to try and get out of town for the night. I just won't think of all the things I need to get done...

Today's card was another that I did with my stamp club this month. I wanted to show them how easy it is to use this beautiful set! And I just love how Pistachio Pudding and Garden Green look together!

  • Card base is Pistachio Pudding
  • At the bottom of the card base, stamp the greeting from Wondrous Wreath using Garden Green ink
  • On a piece of Whisper White stamp the first layer of leaves using Pistachio Pudding ink then stamp the second layer using Garden Green ink and then the berries using Cherry Cobbler ink
  • Adhere the Whisper White panel to a piece of Garden Green card stock and then adhere to the card base with dimensionals
  • Thread a piece of silver baker's twine through a basic metal button and tie a bow then adhere to card
Super simple!! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Preview Week Day 4: Wondrous Wreath and Blog Candy!

Good morning everyone! It's Preview Week at Create with Connie and Mary and I'm SO excited to share my Preview Week project with you all! And I am also offering blog candy! More on that later in my post...

For my preview project I am featuring 4 cards and a gift bag to hold them in. I decided to put my cards and envelopes in this bag so that I could give them to a friend who loves to give handmade Christmas cards but doesn't have the time to make them. The bag is super simple as it uses the new Polka Dot Tag a Bag Gift Bags! And it is held closed by using the cute little clothespin from the Trim the Tree Tag a Bag accessory kit found in the Holiday mini catalog! All my cards use the same colors and designer paper pack so that your supplies are limited. And the cards are easy to create because Stampin' Up! has made these stamps as photopolymer sets which are super easy to line up and create gorgeous images! I created all Christmas cards here but by changing the colors you can create wreaths for any season! Don't forget that this set comes as a bundle and you can get the matching framelits to make cutting them out a breeze! The framelits also come with two die cut words to help make your projects even more elegant! Love this set! Can you tell - lol! Anyway, to see each card individually and to download the FREE tutorial, head on over to the Create with Connie and Mary site! While you're there don't forget to sign up for the Holiday Edition 2014! Early bird pricing is going on right now! We have so many awesome designers I know you will love it! I hope to see you there!

Now for the blog candy! Here's what you need to do to win a FREE subscription to the Create with Connie and Mary Holiday Edition 2014: Leave me a comment TODAY. That's it! That's all you have to do! I'm really excited to hear from you! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Thankful Wreath

Good morning everyone! Boy! It feels like a Monday but I am sure glad it's Friday! We have been running behind and I even got up early! Yikes!! Nick's soccer game went really well! They won 6-2! And while Nick was in goal, he didn't get scored on!! He got to play a lot and that was exciting, too! He has another game tomorrow morning and I am thankful it is here at home! I have SO much stamping to catch up on! I am hoping to work really hard tomorrow! Come on mojo!!

Today's card was one I did for my shoebox group that met last night. Remember how I had said that Wednesday was going to be my day of getting a lot of stamping done since I get out of school early? Well this was the only card I could muster up! UGH! I really hope Saturday is a better day! Anyway, I liked the way this turned out!

  • Card base is Mossy Meadow
  • On a piece of Crumb Cake stamp the Hardwood background stamp using Crumb Cake ink and sponge the edges with Crumb Cake ink
  • Stamp the first layer of leaves from Wondrous Wreath onto Whisper White using Crushed Curry ink and the second layer of leaves using Cajun Craze and then the berries using Blackberry Bliss then cut out using the coordinating framelits
  • Stamp the bow onto Whisper White using Mossy Meadow ink and cut out with the coordinating framelits
  • Adhere the wreath to the stamped panel with dimensionals
  • Adhere the bow to the wreath using dimensionals
  • Stamp the greeting from Really Good Greetings using Mossy Meadow ink then adhere panel to card with dimensionals
  • Adhere a bow tied with the gold baker's twine to the wreath
  • Add a Cajun Craze candy dot
At shoebox last night one of the ladies "accidentally" sponged the wreath with the Crumb Cake ink and it looked awesome!! Just another happy accident! Thanks, Molly!! Have a super day!
