Designer Paper Flower

Hello everyone! I hope that you all had a great Valentine's Day! We had a relaxing one. And yes, it snowed, AGAIN! And it's supposed to snow AGAIN this week! And then somebody reminded me that March is our snowiest month - usually. UGH! Where, oh where is spring? At least the temperatures will be in the 40's. So, if it does really snow as much as they say, it will be melting quickly. I think it's really the cold that I am sick of. Anyway, I think that the sun is supposed to shine this weekend! Yea!!

This card is one I found while surfing the web. I copied it pretty much like she had it except for adding the speckles and sponging and the brads. The images come from Embrace Life. I have used that set a lot. Here I stamped the leafy stem in black and colored with Old Olive marker. Then I stamped the flower onto Ginger Blossom designer paper and cut it out (it's stamped in black). Then I popped it up with dimensionals onto the leafy stem. Instant color on the flower without having to color it in! I just love that idea! Have a great day everyone!

Card Recipe: Stamps- Embrace Life, Itty Bitty Backgrounds; Paper- Ginger Blossom designer paper, Basic Black, Old Olive, Very Vanilla, Kraft; Ink- Basic Black, Old Olive marker, River Rock; Accessories- Basic Black grosgrain, black brads, sponge, dimensionals
