Good morning! I am finally back! I thought that I would have had a card to post during the weekend but I got so caught up in cleaning and throwing away that I didn't even take time to stop and stamp. (gasp!) But yesterday, I had my weekly stamping time with Becky and I was able to get some cards ready! And I am very optimistic that this week will find me in my stamp room doing even more! And that's because I am expecting my new goodies this week!! I am so excited! This blog is really great for me because it keeps me challenged. I don't want to post the same idea all the time or the same colors, or stamps. Now I find that I am buying more stamps (darn) :) I should probably dig out some of the older sets that I have and try using those as well. Anyway, I just want to thank you for all your wonderful comments. You guys are the best and you make me want to keep going! Thanks again!!
Today's card was inspired from the recent Cards magazine. My friend Emily got me this new Tea Party designer paper. It is really pretty! And very spring like! I love it! However, I found it hard to use. I have gotten so into the earth colors. I am hoping that I will be able to find myself in these colors again by using more of this paper. Thanks, Emily! Also, I did dig out an older set for this card. Butterflies seem to be really popular these days. And with spring comes more butterflies! Well, enough ramblings (I guess that's what happens when I have typed at you in a while - :)) Thanks for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous card! I was just playing with my nestibilities, circle punch and cuttlebug with both plain and designer paper and layering them. I also cut and embossed a small spellbinders butterfly so I might just case this card if you don't mind. Thanks for the inspiration!
