Good afternoon, Friends! Ahhh!!! It's Friday!! I am excited to spend a few hours with some close stamping friends tonight! I haven't seen them in quite a while and it will be fun to eat, chat and stamp! Hmmm... What to take with me?
Today's card is one that I sort of copied from the Stampin' Success Magazine that demonstrators get monthly. The magazine highlighted a few different ways to make your own paper embellishments. I have seen a lot of these flowers made all vintage like with scripted paper. Well, the idea is to make your own scripted paper using the Define Your Life stamps, stamping it repeatedly onto paper and then punching it out with the scallop circle punch! How clever! You do a few other things to it, too, but the result is pretty cool! I will experiment with this idea a little more. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!
Card Recipe: Stamps- Medallion, Define Your Life, Well Scripted; Paper- Kraft, Very Vanilla; Ink- Soft Suede, VersaMark; Accessories- Old Olive wide grosgrain ribbon, Chocolate Chip corduroy brad, scallop circle punch
Oh my favorite stamp! I still love the Medallion stamp. Loved the flower too.
