Good morning everyone! I hope that your week is off to a great start! Nick came home from school yesterday and was feeling great! He said that his first day at this school was way better than his first day last year. I will not get into it, but he did not have a very good year last year. So we are so thankful! He still does not like getting up early (as was clearly evident this morning) but he was eager to get to the bus stop (which, by the way, is at the end of our long driveway). He probably won't like the learning part of school but he will definitely have a great year!
Today's card was inspired by Julie Pitta. She was the featured stamper at the Stampin' Up! connection website. She has a fabulous gallery there so if you are a demonstrator be sure to check her out! She also has a super great blog with video tutorials. So if you aren't a demonstrator, you can still check out her great work! I couldn't find the card that inspired this one but I'm sure it's there. I just didn't go back far enough. Julie used the two step bird punch instead of the owl. And I also remember hers having the felt flowers. I decided to make mine a little more masculine. My hubby's birthday is Thursday and I thought that this would be a good card for him. I just love this little owl! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!
