Smoochin' With the Freaks!

Hello everyone and welcome to another Control Freaks blog tour! Did you come from Sandy's blog? Wow! She is always so creative and clever! Love her work!! This month the Control Freaks are showcasing the new Summer Smooches product line! This line of products will be available till the end of April and then be available when the new catalog comes out in June! So get ready to be inspired!! So my first project is a card. I used the sketch at Sketch Frenzy Friday to make this card. It is a very clean and simple card (just the way I like 'em)! 

I started with a card base of Whisper White and adhered a piece of the Summer Smooches designer paper. Then I stamped the image from Bright Blossoms in Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade and Daffodil Delight onto a piece of Whisper White. I stamped the tulip in Island Indigo onto a scrap piece of Whisper White and cut it out. This is popped up onto the panel and a rhinestone is added. I wrapped a piece of Island Indigo ruffled ribbon around the panel and tied a clear button on with a piece of white baker's twine. This panel is popped up onto the card. I stamped the greeting onto a strip of Whisper White and flagged one end. This is adhered to the stamped panel. 


My second project was made with the new Summer Smooches designer fabric. I LOVE this new fabric! The colors are so vibrant, cheery and FUN!

I found a tutorial on how to make a fabric organizer. What a super easy and fun project! And it is very useful! If you will come back later this weekend, I will post a link to the tutorial so that you can make them, too! My sewing is not perfect but I am getting better - lol! I am thinking that I need to make more of these to organize my silverware in my kitchen!
