Good morning, Friends! Another week is here! I just can't believe how quickly the time goes by! I was able to get two more gifts done for my nieces yesterday. I only have one more to go!! But then I need to figure out what else I need to get them or make for them. And my husband isn't much help there - lol! And what am I going to do for the rest of the family? So many decisions and so little time! And tonight Nick has a basketball game! I just love to watch him and his team! Right now they have won 4 and only lost 1! Keep up the great work, Fruita!!
Today's card was inspired by one that I did at Becky's card class last month. A super simple one and I just loved the squares from the designer paper! On a piece of Very Vanilla, I adhered squares of designer paper from the Festival of Prints pack and one Very Vanilla square that is popped up onto the panel. I punched the tree from champagne glimmer paper with the Merry Minis punch pack. I stamped the greeting from Greetings of the Season in Cherry Cobbler and then tied some Cherry Cobbler seam binding ribbon around this panel. The panel is popped up onto a card base of Very Vanilla. Easy!! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!
Card Recipe: Stamps- Greetings of the Season; Paper- Very Vanilla, Festival of Prints designer paper, champagne glimmer paper; Ink- Cherry Cobbler; Accessories- Cherry Cobbler seam binding ribbon, Merry Minis punch pack, dimensionals
So easy and yet so appealing! Must file this idea away for when I need a card in a hurry! Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteI love it! Simple and sophisticated. Thanks for sharing. I'm wondering what size the squares are. Did you use the 1 1/4 punch?
ReplyDeleteThis is such a brilliant card....I am seeing it pinned all over Pinterest! :)
ReplyDelete...and yes, did you use the 1 1/4 punch or did you just use a trimmer?
ReplyDeleteI did use the trimmer. I believe that I cut the squares to 1 1/8". I practiced with some scrap paper first to get the size I wanted. Hope this helps! Thanks for all your sweet comments!!
DeleteBeautiful! Another card for me to case, and it looks so simple but elegant!
