Good morning everyone! It felt so good to sleep in this morning! Nick spent the night at a friend's and Pat is out of town so that meant I had the house all to myself! I watched basketball games and stitched and ate junk food - lol! Today Nick has a basketball game and then we will come home to watch the Super Bowl! I don't really care who wins but I like to see the commercials!
Today's card was inspired by the sketch at Freshly Made. So many possibilities with this one!! For my card I made a tag from Basic Grey card stock by rounding the top with the 2 1/2" circle punch and flagging the bottom. Then I punched two strips of Real Red with the dotted ribbon scallop border punch. I adhered these to the back of a piece of More Amore designer paper and then to the tag. The tag is popped up onto a card base of Naturals Ivory. To the top of the tag I added a piece of Victoria crochet trim that was tied with some linen thread and an antique brad. Then I carefully cut a Real Red doily heart from the More Amore designer paper and popped it up onto the card. I added a greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes that was stamped in Basic Grey onto a strip of Naturals Ivory and flagged one end. Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!!

ReplyDeleteI'm with you about the Superbowl - it's all about the commercials! I love your take on the sketch this week. The tag has got some great embellishments with the crochet trim and the antique brad and that big heart just has Valentine written all over it! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!
