Epic Butterfly

Good morning, Friends! Well, I guess it would be late morning! Ahhh!! It felt so good to sleep in this morning! It has been a long week! But I think that Nick has had a good first week of school and while school is not his thing, he is enjoying it and says he likes all of his teachers! And that's what I am very happy to hear!! Next weekend we will be in Denver for the start of the fall soccer season! Here we go!

Today's card is one that I did with my stamp club last week. Here are the details:

  • Card base is Basic Grey
  • Layer of Calypso Coral with a layer of Epic Day designer paper adhered to the bottom portion
  • Add a strip of Epic Day washi tape to the top part of the designer paper then tie a piece of Basic Grey stitched grosgrain around the panel
  • Use a corner rounder to round the bottom corners
  • Stamp greeting from Sweet Essentials onto the Calypso Coral part in Basic Grey and pop panel up onto card
  • Cut shape from Basic Grey using the Apothecary Accents framelits and pop up onto card
  • Flag both ends of a strip of Gumball Green card stock and adhere to label
  • Punch a butterfly from Daffodil Delight using Elegant Butterfly punch and one from Pool Party using Bitty Butterfly punch
  • Adhere butterflies together and then to card
  • Add two rhinestones to butterfly body
Not a lot of stamping on this one! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!
