SFYTT #8

Good morning, Friends! Well, I made it home safe and sound yesterday! It was a beautiful drive over the mountains. And now it's back to reality. Reality hit me a few hours ago with a migraine so I hope that I can keep it in check so I can get some things done today! UGH!! My husband was very nice and cleaned the floors while I was gone and even did some laundry! Woohoo! And then my son decided to do a load last night so he washed some of my clothes, too! I might have time for a nap today because of that!! Makes facing reality a little easier!

Today's card was inspired by the sketch at Reverse Confetti. I do love her sketches and samples! Some very fun and unique layouts! Here are the details:

  • Card base is Whisper White
  • Layer of Gumball Green that was run through the Big Shot using the Decorative Dots embossing folder then adhered to card
  • Cut a strip of Epic Day designer paper and a strip of Calypso Coral and adhere them to card
  • Cut a banner from Whisper White using the Banner framelits and stamp greeting from Perfect Pennants in Gumball Green and stars in Daffodil Delight
  • Stamp another star onto Whisper White and cut out
  • Stamp the greeting again onto Whisper White in Calypso Coral and cut out just the middle part then adhere to banner with dimensionals
  • Tie a piece of Gumball Green stitched satin ribbon around the banner and adhere to card with dimensionals
  • Adhere cut out star with dimensionals
  • Add a rhinestone to star
