CCMC Card "Create"tions Week 2 Favor

Good morning, Friends! The Create with Connie and Mary Cards "Create"tions has come to the end of week 2! Wow! I hope that you are a subscriber and have seen these amazing card sets! If you aren't a subscriber then why not join today? You can still enjoy all the projects that have been shared so far and download the tutorials! At the end of each week, the designers share a little favor using the set that was used during the Cards edition. This past week I used the Blooming with Kindness set. I don't own this set so I borrowed it from a friend. So the only way to see any cards that I have made with this set is to be a subscriber! (I do think that I have shared one card made with this set)

This week I made a tea bag holder.

I won't go into a lot of detail as to how I put it together. I used the directions from the Splitcoast Stampers website. And I do wish that I had prettier tea bags to put into the slots but all I had was the Lipton yellow tea bags. But I think you get the idea :) I used Basic Gray, Primrose Petals and Pink Pirouette card stock and Primrose Petals and Basic Gray ink. The tea bag holder is held closed by a piece of Primrose Petals stitched satin ribbon. I used a piece of the silver foil designer vellum for the inside of the holder and silver twine for the spine of the holder.

I enjoyed making this sweet little gift! I thought any of the sentiments would work for this project! I kept thinking about Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory when he always says to his friends in distress "Can I offer you a hot beverage?" Love that show!! Anyway, there you have it! Be sure to stop by the Create with Connie and Mary website to see all the treats that the other designers have created! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Card Recipe: Stamps- Blooming with Kindness; Paper- Basic Gray, Primrose Petals, Pink Pirouette, silver foil designer vellum; Ink- Primrose Petals, Basic Gray; Accessories- Primrose Petals stitched satin ribbon, silver twine, 1 1/4" circle punch, dimensionals
