Mojo 331

Good morning, Friends! I hope your week is off to a great start! It snowed here all day yesterday but nothing really stuck to the ground so the streets were just wet all day. It's supposed to continue today but we will see. We need the moisture so I'm glad when it doesn't stick around too long - lol! I'm making progress on my project and hope to have them done in the next few days!! It's great when I can stamp a few cards and then work on my project while watching it snow. Glad I can be by the fire!!

Today's card was inspired by the sketch at Mojo Monday. Was going for a different look. Seems like most of my cards have been a lot of white on white! I am glad that I just got more white card stock!! This one is vanilla. But I do have a lot more white cards - lol!!

  • Card base is Very Vanilla
  • Adhere a piece of Gumball Green to card base
  • Adhere a strip of Basic Gray to card
  • Use the Banners framelits to cut a banner from Epic Day designer paper and adhere to card
  • Round the top right corner of a piece of Calypso Coral and adhere to card with dimensionals
  • Stamp greeting from Six-Sided Sampler in Basic Gray onto Very Vanilla and adhere to card
  • Stamp the three hexagons from Six-Sided Sampler in  Gumball Green, Daffodil Delight and Pool Party onto Very Vanilla and punch out using the hexagon punch then adhere to card with dimensionals
  • Add two rhinestones (I would have put mini brads but I was too late so rhinestones it was)
There you have it! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Card Recipe: Stamps- Six-Sided Sampler; Paper- Very Vanilla, Gumball Green, Basic Gray, Calypso Coral, Epic Day designer paper; Ink- Basic Gray, Daffodil Delight, Gumball Green, Pool Party; Accessories- Banners framelits, hexagon punch, corner rounder, rhinestones, dimensionals

Love Ya Bubble

Good morning, Friends! Well the Super Bowl definitely did NOT go the way I had expected! Yikes!! Sure wish it had been a lot closer and more of a game. But it's all over and the Manning jersey is packed away for next year. Love that guy!! This week is supposed to be colder and snowy. Hmmm… But this weekend my friend Sherry is coming for a visit and that will make everything better!! Guess I had get my stuff done before she gets here!

Today's card started out from a sketch (I think). Anyway, it ended up completely different! I was trying to use my fringe scissors in different ways. Here are the details:

  • Card base is Sahara Sand
  • Layer of Sweet Sorbet designer paper that was fringed with the fringe scissors on both ends then adhere to card
  • Use the banner punch to punch a banner from Crisp Cantaloupe and a banner from Pool Party then adhere to the back of a piece of Basic Black card stock then adhere panel to card
  • Pierce a heart onto a piece of Sahara Sand using the Occasions paper piercing pack and adhere to card with dimensionals
  • Stamp the greeting from Just Sayin' in black StazOn onto a piece of Whisper White and cut out using the Word Bubbles framelits
  • Adhere to card with dimensionals
  • Adhere a large rhinestone to card
Pretty simple! And I am having fun with those fringe scissors! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Woohoo!! I am drinking coffee from my Bronco mug and am wearing my brand new Manning jersey that my son and husband got me yesterday!! I LOVE it!!! And I am so excited!! Go Broncos!!

So today's card was inspired by the sketch at The Sweetest Thing. Not sure how I feel about the end result but I do love putting the animals with the word bubbles! Too fun and too cute! Here are the details…
