Friendship Stays

Good Sunday morning everyone! I did not realize that it has been a week since I last posted. I am so sorry! I have been really busy but I this week was actually a "quiet" week compared to some. I think that I was probably really tired! Only 4 more weeks till summer break!!! And to let you all know, I did turn my letter of resignation to begin at the end of this school year. No, I am not going back to teach. My husband and I decided that I really need to be home more. Especially as Nick will be in middle school in only a couple of years! Yikes! Where did that time go? I will be looking for something part time and hopefully I will find something. A little extra money never hurts! We missed yesterday's soccer game to play a baseball game. So I am not sure how Nick's soccer team did yesterday and I am anxious to find out! Nick's baseball team was fantastic!!! We have lost one game and the team we played was undefeated. Well, they are undefeated no more! Nick pitched 68 pitches and hit a SUPER hit! In fact, his hit was so good that the next time he got up to bat, they intentionally walked him! Now I have never heard of that happening in little league but we keep telling Nick that it is a compliment. Well, I think that is enough bragging on my son. Thanks for reading.

Today's card is one that I did with my stamp club last week. Super easy! And I love the way it turned out! Not much to say about it. What you see is what you get! Thanks for stopping by and thanks for being patient with me. You all are the best!!!

  9. Very pretty card! You won't regret your decision to be a stay at home mom, I worked with my first 3 who are all grown now but then 5 years ago(I as still working) God put 2 little girls in our lives ages 8 months and 5. We adopted them 2 years ago but I told my husband when we got them that I was never going back to work and God has provided us with an abundance. We put ourselves on a budget and have not missed my paycheck at all. Good luck and enjoy!
