Good morning, Friends! And happy July! I can't believe it is here already! The summer seems to be flying away. I want to let you all know that I was accepted to be a design team member for Create with Connie and Mary! As you may know already, I LOVE to participate in their challenges. This week's challenge is to create something with a Fourth of July theme. Be sure to visit their blog and add your creation! Three will be picked to be showcased. Maybe it will be yours!
This was my card that I designed. I used the card that was in the mini catalog to start off with. Then I had the idea to use an alphabet die set to make the letters look like they were embossed. Actually, I cut the letters out with the Big Shot in the same color. Cool!! I hope that you can see the bitty button in the corner of the star. I just love those cute little buttons! Again, be sure to visit Create with Connie and Mary and get your creation posted! Can't wait to see what you come up with!!
Card Recipe: Stamps- Fourth of July; Paper- Sahara Sand, Whisper White, Poppy Parade, Not Quite Navy; Ink- Not Quite Navy, VersaMark; Accessories- Go Go Boots alphabet dies, Big Shot, linen thread, bitty buttons, dimensionals
Seriously? I thought the USA was embossed! What a great idea!! Great card, too!!
