Good morning, Friends! Another week to begin. I hope you all had a fantastic weekend! Patriots fans are probably bummed. While I really didn't care who won, I was secretly cheering for the Giants. And the game was really pretty good! We just had a quiet game watching the event here at home. And that was nice. Now to get another week going...


Today's card was inspired by a sketch at Freshly Made Sketches. They have some really fantastic sketches!! For this challenge, they are going long. So my card is a 3 x 6 card. I started with a card base of Whisper White and then added a piece of Basic Grey and then a piece of Twitterpated designer paper. I took a piece of Riding Hood Red and ran it through the Big Shot with the Adorning Accents edgelits die to scallop it. This is added to the card. Then I took a strip of Whisper White and stamped the greeting from Friendly Phrases in Basic Grey. Then I took a piece of Whisper White and stamped just the outline of one of the stamps from Apothecary Art in Basic Grey. I took this to the Big Shot and used my Labels Framelits die to cut the shape. This is popped up on the card. Then I stamped the flowers from Bordering on Romance in Basic Grey onto Whisper White and colored them in with Baja Breeze, Riding Hood Red, Island Indigo, Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz markers. I cut them out and added three brads before popping them up on the card. I found a small flower that I had stamped, colored and cut out from another project and used glue dots to adhere it to the card. Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!
